He tries to bite at the clippers....but he's just a pup, this is only his third haircut and he's still learning.
The clippers are scary to him...so I only use scissors around his face and front legs for now. His mom and I are working on getting him used to the clippers and he's getting better every time I see him. 🥰

Hey everyone!
Here's a full introduction for all my new followers who don't know me....
My name is Dara 🥰
I'm 35 and I've been working with animals for over 20yrs. I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember....
I read every book about dogs in my Elementary school, Jr. High, High School, and local library growing up.....they've always been my favorite animal...even amongst the exotics and wild animals.
I started volunteering with dogs as a dog walker at a local shelter when I was 12, where I was taught dog handling and training....then I observed at an animal hospital for a few years and watched many surgeries and veterinary procedures.
I ended up going to school for dog grooming and fell in love with this career....
I have happily ended up as a dog groomer....
Taking care of dogs and making them look and feel their best while spoiling them with love, has become my passion !!🥰🥰

Dog Grooming is definitely not always all fun and puppy cuddles....EVEN when you're grooming the cutest puppies... here's a perfect example of how even grooming an adorable puppy can be hard work!! This boy was quite feisty... It took tons of patience, lots of weird noises for distraction, and lots of breaks for hugs and kisses... His haircut was far from perfect....but we'll get there eventually. 😂

A Little bit About Myself...

Hi! My name is Dara and I am a dedicated and loving, experienced animal care provider and dog groomer. I have had many dogs through the years and have 10 years in the field of dog grooming.

I’ve also been working with animals in multiple fields for over 15 years, including pet sitting, dog walking, kennel work, observing in a veterinary setting, volunteer work in an animal shelter, and working in pet stores

**** I groom at my house, as well as offer house calls by appointment for SMALL or MEDIUM dogs who need a little extra comfort at home, are unable to come to a salon, or for the convenience of not having to leave your home. Services Include, but are not limited to: - full baths (bath, nails, ears cleaned & plucked if needed, and blowout/de-shed) - full haircuts, all including hand scissor finish work (always includes a full bath) - Creative grooming (fur dye on light colored dogs) -nails clipped- $10 -nails clipped & filed- $15 Price quotes are always estimates until I can see your pet in person and it’s based on size of dog, length of hair, type of cut, and if there is matting. I only book one appointment at at a time to assure your dog gets my undivided attention. -No rushed or sloppy haircuts! -No need for your dog to wait 4 or more hours in a cage without food, water or walks -Your pet is cared for as my own! - No hectic and loud atmosphere to frighten your pup
