Well, this is a new claimed lifespan record if I ever saw one 🤣🤣🤣

Every single day I see claims of 6 years, 8 years, etc etc and none of it is true. What does this achieve? Nothing, other than making pet owners feel s**t about themselves because their rats have only reached normal lifespan. It's just crap and unfair.

The RSPCA were alerted but chose not to attend, so I did.
There's 3 does and 2 bucks, photos will happen in the next few days, they currently hate me and scream at me, so I'm hoping they will settle down a little and I can get some photos ❤️

I have some wonderful young male mice looking for homes.

Various colours, but all gorgeous. Some have been neutered, some haven't, I'm trying to get them all done before homing them, but as you can imagine it's quite costly and I'm doing them in batches as I have no financial assistance with this.

All are well handled and they're nosy little boys full of mischief 😂

They can leave in pairs, trios etc, and will need a decent sized cage with plenty enrichment opportunities, good diet, digging opportunities etc. I will get more pictures in the next few days of the others.

I have 3 returnee bucks of under a year old, looking for a home.

One Black standard coat, one Russian blue Standard coat, and one Russian Blue recessive Rex.
Yes, they're fat, but are losing weight at a sensible rate since being back with me. They will need their weight watching as they get older for sure 🤣

They're really nice boys, no snatching, no nipping, but I was told the standard coated Russian blue boy will bite, however I haven't been able to even entice him to bite inside or outside of the cage, and they have all been perfect gentlemen in terms of doing introductions etc. They are really sweet lads.

I've included plenty whisker pictures to illustrate the difference between them and rex.

I'm currently playing around with them, I like them, I like the way they feel, but like I said, they're kinda pointless? I mean look at those terrible whiskers and a total lack of curl on the coat like Rex 😂

I will be having another litter of them later on in the year, and then I will decide from there what I am doing to either proceed with them or if anybody else is interested in breeding them? Or possibly even drop them, I'm not sure yet.

They're really cute and absolutely lovely rats regardless ❤️

I've been quiet this week as I've been away from home with a family emergency, but normal service will resume hopefully from this weekend 🤣

I have some more rescue bucks from the big lot in Bolton looking for homes.

2 are double rexes and patchy AF, this will not improve I don't think, as the coat really is typical for a double rex and nothing to worry about.
The roan buck has microphthalmia, in simple terms, abnormally small eyes, this is likely genetic and shouldn't cause any issues in the long term, though his sight is *very* poor overall and he likes to not be startled when sleeping, so please be mindful of this.

So we have...

1x Standard ear roan with microphthalmia, youngest of the bucks at around 6-7 months old.
1x BEW/faded roan Dumbo rex sheep buck, probably 12m or so
1 X Black standard ear double rex, around 18m or a little younger
1 X Powder Blue double rex Dumbo buck, probably 12m or so.

All live together currently and will only be homed as a group or in pairs, no singles so please don't ask me for that.
Nobody bites, nobody is bad tempered with other rats, and all live together currently, they're really nice natured rats.

Girls girls girls!!!

So, we have a pair available, middle aged girls.

2x Dumbo mismarked ba****ck, one Agouti, one Mink rex. (Older pair)

I won't home out single rats, so please don't ask. They will go as a pair.

These are part of the big group of rats from the Bolton rescue, and are really quite nice natured despite their poor life so far.
They live as part of a mixed age group of 13 with no issues. They are quite shy with humans, but are rapidly improving.

I have 2 young buckets that I've 'grown on' to see how they would mature and decided not to keep for breeding.

They're from my recent Halcyon stud X Kaiju stud outcross, their dad is a half-Chinchilla and their mum Essex.
Both parents are super friendly, but these guys have turned out quite reserved and slightly shy, which surprised me. My rats are usually the opposite of this 😂

One is Russian Blue Berkshire, the other is Russian Blue Agouti Berkshire, both have tremendously thick coats. They are going to be BIG boys, and live happily in a mixed age group currently, they have great rat skills.

I have some rescue bucks available to pet homes. These are all young bucks, I would estimate 6-8 months old for the black eyed white sheep, and the rest are younger, 4-6m.

We have as follows:

1x PEW standard ear, standard coat
1x PEW sheep, rex coated and Dumbo ears
1x BEW sheep, rex coated and standard ears
2x Black mismarked hooded Dumbo rexes

No biters, nice natured but a little shy. All have been vet checked, treated for internal and external parasites and are overall now healthy and a decent weight compared to how they arrived.
One of the PEW sheeps gets porphyrin around his nose and one eye as the curly hairs annoy him, but this is easily rectified by either trimming the offending hairs or plucking them. They will be done before homing him out, don't worry.

Ideally to go in a group of 2 and 3. Please message me if you need any more information or more pictures. These rats are so sweet despite their terrible start in life, they deserve the best home possible ❤️

I know people whinge and hate the fact that I run a Rattery review group (UK Rattery & Breeder Reviews), but with coordination between concerned people, it can produce results such as convictions, animal keeping bans etc, and the right result can be achieved.

This was Tulip Bubble Fields Rattery. I put the initial complaint in to the RSPCA and urged others to join me. This is a good result.

She's a black Variegated Essex rex, kinda fat, active, no health issues whatsoever, no HLD and great kidney function etc.
Bad things: she's a bit of a drama queen when in season though and she barbers one leg and occasionally shaves other rats legs 😂

I bred her and she's due back to me this weekend. Does anybody have space for her at all? I can get photos when she arrives back.

Finally the LZV has been demolished and a triple critter nation has taken it's place, I'm so much happier already 😂😂😂

Rats are moved in, but main decoration, wheels, deeper trays etc will need to wait till tomorrow, as I'm knackered, yay for CFS/ME.
They have food, water, hammocks etc so won't magically die overnight or anything, so whilst it's bare yet, it's fine till tomorrow 😀
Top cage is buck kittens.
2 bottom sections is my older girls group, they're most put out that I haven't put the wheel back in yet 😂

Just to clarify, I'm not a scammer and I'm pretty sure at this point, hundreds, maybe thousands of rat people have met me over the years I've been both rescuing and breeding.

I really, really don't appreciate people calling me a scammer over something which doesn't have anything to do with me.

Yes some rats were collected from a big amount in Bolton yesterday, yes there's issues with the story behind them, yes there's multiple stories floating around where they originally came from, but I took the rats on in good faith and the person collecting them for me, did the same.

I have NOT arranged any kind of collection or wild goose chase regarding the rats I took on, they aren't in any shape to be rehomed yet
I have NOT messed anyone around over then. None will be collected by anybody yet. Stop spreading s**t already....

Some of you may have seen the below post in a group, and a few people contacted me/sent me the post and asked if I could help.

I have 9 bucks and 6 does. Ages range from young kittens to older adults, and some are in very poor condition overall. Dehydration, respiratory infections, mammary lumps, random body scabs, microphthalmia, stained in p**s and they stink...

I've taken some individual pictures below, you will be glad you can't smell them through the screen. I have some more arriving tomorrow from this group, which were missexed so will be treated with the rest of the girls with Galastop. Yes that's right, GALASTOP.

The black Dumbo Berkshire girl with the mammary lump is the most concerning, as she also might have something going on internally, as there's *something* inside which doesn't feel quite right when palpating her.

All will be going to the vets tomorrow for a full checkup. Nobody is looking for a home right now.

Uh oh..... What am I up to? 🤣🤣🤣

I have been cage buying again. Triple critter nation to replace the horrid LZV that I HATE 🤣

So that means I will have a black LZV available in a week or so. Will be well cleaned, and yes, this is the cage which had the broken bars, but don't despair, as I have two BRAND NEW PANELS to replace the ones with broken bars! Does anybody want a LZV? PLEASE TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME, I HATE THEM 😂

Regarding other cages:
I also have 2 great condition Coco Large 100cm cages available. One with stand, one without.
A thicketts type degu/Chinchilla cage available if anybody can make use of it? It's all metal and unchewable.
4 furet plus cages in great condition.

Somebody please empty my spare cage hoarding little shed so I have more room 🤣

I joined the cool kids and tried to use Alizin again to terminate a pregnancy because the wild mum had a broken front leg and I didn't think she needed the hassle of a litter AND me poking and prodding her to check on her leg plus giving medication.

This is the result. There's 5 more in the nest and mum is stressed. We dosed accurately and at the right time frame.

I recently received quite a bit of hassle from a certain rat rescue because I said I would use all the options open to me going forward, regardless of whether THEY agreed with it or not and to be honest, I don't need the stress from them right now.
We need MORE OPTIONS to end potential pregnancy, not less, and ideally don't be a c**t and call people unethical for still wanting to use Galastop. Neither drug is perfect, but this situation is an absolute cluster f**k. Stop trying to police people and their choices.

Girl keepers from my recent litters and their PED cage mates, who I got a while ago from Queen Rattery but never really introduced to you all because I forgot 🤣
