Mission accomplished at Made in the Shade I, II, and III this weekend! Janine Markham’s DeeDee was fabulous all three days! Freestyle qualifying scores and winning the Jovee Farm Pony Championships today was the cherry on top! Thanks to Martie Healy and Angie Mariachi for putting on a great show!

Alright here’s the video of our T Swift freestyle!! Of course some things to improve on but very happy with how it went out first time out! Scores of 68% and 69% so all qualified for regionals. Big thanks to Emme Johnston Dressage for doing such a great job with the choreography and music! I hadn’t done a freestyle since pony club champs in high school haha. For those of yall who knew my horse Danny, you understand why 🤣🤣. DeeDee and I had so much fun!

A bit of a wild weather weekend at Prime Time Dressage but we made it through 💪🏼! Ellen Easter and Hershey made their recognized show debut at intro and came home with TWO blue ribbons! So proud of this pair! Ellen has put in the work and it has paid off. Janine Markham’s DeeDee put in respectable tests at second level (riding in the pouring rain Sunday 😳). Even with some sassy pony moments in the ring, I am so happy to be back showing her!! Thank you to for putting on a great show and to Royal Equine for outfitting us all! And a BIG thank you to for all her help this weekend- especially on Sunday 🤪. Couldn’t have done it without you! Congrats to our Encore Sporthorse, Inc. show friends for their awesome rides as well.

Show season is in full swing! Yesterday Ellen Easter and Hershey made their show debut at Buckhorn Farm schooling show earning a 65% at intro c. So proud of Ellen’s hard work!

Last weekend Janine Markham’s DeeDee was back in the show ring at March Magic after almost two years of being out of the show ring. She is feeling better than ever and we received qualifying scores for regionals, CBLMs, and high score second level with a 67%! So happy to have her feeling good again!

Zenfandel Farm is a small dressage training facility in Staley, NC run by USDF bronze and silver medalist Ashley Dimmette. Dimmette Dressage maintains an active competition schedule attending both USDF and NCDCTA shows. Ashley enjoys working with horse and rider combinations of various breeds and backgrounds. Dimmette Dressage is looking for another person to join our team as we head into show season! Part time position 2-3 days per week. This can either be a barn work position or an internship position with grooming/tacking in addition to feeding, turnout,stalls, etc. 7 well behaved horses in a quiet atmosphere.
