I am excited to help students of all ages, backgrounds and experiences to develop vocal confidence and vocal techniques in a covid safe, well ventilated space. Judy Kent has a PGCE in further, higher and adult education, and studied singing at Chetham's School of Music and the RNCM. Judy has an extensive professional singing career, including session and recording work for Granada TV, BBC, Halle

orchestra and the BBC Philharmonic orchestra. Toured in Evita, Cats, Sweeney Todd, Annie, The King and I, as well as summer seasons and pantomime all over the UK. Teaching experience includes Vocal lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University Capitol Theatre, LIPA, Head of Singing at the Arden Theatre School and MAPAS. Current positions include Vocal Coach at the Hammond School and Centre Pointe as well as freelance singing. Please contact Judy if you are interested in joining the singing school for one to one tuition and group classes. This will lead to performances and competitions as well as singing grades/diplomas in the future. All classes are tailored to meet students goals and needs as every voice is unique. All lessons will be taught in a covid safe, well ventilated space with screens.

Monton Voices Community Choir Singing at Salford Art Gallery

Judy has an extensive professional singing career, including session and recording work for Granada TV, BBC, Halle orchestra and the BBC Philharmonic orchestra. Toured in Evita, Cats, Sweeney Todd, Annie, The King and I, as well as summer seasons and pantomime all over the UK. . Teaching experience includes Vocal lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University Capitol Theatre, LIPA, Head of Singing at the Arden Theatre School,MAPAS,and NBS Current positions include Vocal lecturer at the Hammond School,teaching on their Diploma and school singing programmes , Vocal coach at Centre Pointe Dance College and Musical Director of Monton Voices Community Choir, as well as freelance singing commitments
