Dog Obedience Classes for any dog 8 weeks & older. 70 years Experience teaching people how to train their dogs.

With 70 Years of Experience Training All Breeds of Dogs, we have the experience and knowledge to help you get your dog trained. We offer Puppy classes for $215 and fixed schedule obedience classes for $220. Our Flexible schedule membership package includes both beginners/advanced obedience classes for 1 Flat fee of $400, this includes 20 classes, and is Valid for use up to 6 months. Our Classes ar

e for any dog 8 weeks or older, we accept All Breeds, and all class sizes are limited to 8 dogs. We have specialty classes such as Puppy, Rally, Scent Work, Service Dog, Conformation, and Competition Training. Our Curriculum includes: Heeling on a Loose lead, Auto-Sit, Sit Stay, Down, Down Stay, Stand Stay, & All Off Leash Exercises, plus the Finish & the Recall (the Come). Our Training also includes Group work, Socialization, Distraction Resistance Exercises, & the Canine Good Citizen Curriculum. We help owners correct unmanageable behaviors such as: Barking, Jumping, Resource Guarding, Anxiety, Biting, Crating, and House Training. We have 2 trainers at every class to help you individually with any problem or question. We also offer regular CGC (Canine Good Citizen) testing, CGCA (Canine Good Citizen Advanced), & Trick Dog Testing at no additional charge. The Goals of our Clientele include: Basic/Intermediate/Advanced Obedience, Therapy & Service Dogs, Scent Work, & Competition/Rally/Conformation.

💙Client Spotlight💙 Congratulations to Ann & her Doodles, Dora & Trixie, on recently passing their Canine Good Citizen Testing series' with us!!! We met Ann & Dora late last year when they signed up for our Canine Good Citizen test. Dora was a happy go lucky dog, but highly distracted as she pulled Ann around the room during the CGC test, leading to their team being excused.

⭐Failures lead to Victories and Growth! 💙Ann is a military veteran, and was training Dora to be her service dog but they lacked leash skills, impulse control, and ex*****on. Even with living far from training, this team dedicated themselves to attend our Beginner-Advanced Training program. With dedication, and consistency of training, in and out of the classroom, both dogs flourished with clear boundaries and behavioral expectations. Ann not only recently passed her AKC Canine Good Citizen Series with us, but she is now working off leash, with both dogs, in our advanced classes.

🔷Training dogs is hard work, and far to often people quit, it's the easier choice. We are so Proud of Ann for buckling down, immersing herself into our training program, and leaning on us for support when frustrations or difficulties arose. Congratulations on all your hard work, the CGC titles are merely the cherry on top! 💜 G**k Luck to Shayleen, Husker, & Oreo at Rally Nationals Today & Tomorrow!!!💜 Shayleen started Husker in Obedience with us 3 years ago, and now they are off competing at Rally Nationals in Advanced. Oreo began his training with us as a young puppy, and is debuting in Novice level Rally. Shayleen, & her daughter Kaelyn, have worked very hard training both dogs in Rally & Obedience with us; accomplishing many titles, and winning top ribbons along the way. Laura & I are so excited these teams will be spending Independence day in the ring!

⭐A lot of 1sts to be proud of - Czarina's first dog show EVER, Atlas's First time Off Leash in a ring in Advanced Rally, & their first inaugural competitive showing against each other.

💙I started competing with my dogs when I was 9 years old in 4-H, competing Internationally at 12, and 40 years later I am still thrilled to grade my training skills against the perfect score. I have worked very hard with the twins to establish continuity of training as their competitive, spirited, & willful temperaments fly at an Entitled "10" most of the time. Atlas & Czarina come from German/American Lineage dating back to dogs my dad & I bought in Germany together. With pride for the twins recent accomplishments, I am thrilled Atlas & Czarina are the Flagship Balance Dogs of All Breed Dog Obedience!

⭐Happy Father's Day to the Man that Started it ALL, Neal Leas! In the Dog World there is only one way to quantify who my father was, and that was an "Expert Dog Man", the Highest Honor. Neal Leas was my world from the first moments I can remember, and became my mentor, coach, teacher, and best friend. Realizing I had a gift when it came to dogs, he became my trainer/coach at just 9 years of age, and competing Internationally at 12 years of age in Obedience & Conformation.

⭐Neal was a graduate of Drake University with a double major in speech drama/psychology who went on to attend Drake law school. He decided sitting behind a desk wasn't for him and his passion for dogs, especially the German Shepherd, took over. Starting All Breed Dog Obedience & Lutzhaus Kennels in 1957 he was a Professionally licensed in 1960 as a Professional Handler/Behavioralist/Trainer in AKC Obedience & Conformation.

⭐My father went on to break every record possible in his career with a multitude of dogs. He was on the cover of Dog World Magazine 5 times, Schutzhund Magazine, on the back of books, and written up in publications such as the Des Moines Register to many times to count. He campaigned 10 Champion Clayfield's Mon Ami, to the Guinness Book of World Records in 1986 after winning "10 Championships and Multiple Best in Shows on 4 Continents" to be the Greatest Winning International Dog in the World.

⭐I was lucky enough to be his daughter, competing at the highest levels of obedience & conformation all over the world. When I was a teenager I began buying/training trips to Germany with my dad where we picked out our next Guinness Book Inductee, Jucki, who I showed to become WORLD'S GREATEST INTERNATIONAL WINNING DOG 4X V-1 WORLD 67 CHAMPION JUCKI vonder FREIHEIT WESTERHOLT SchH-II.

⭐I could go on with all the winnings, records, and accolades of Neal Leas, he was a world renowned scholar of dog & human behavior, but the MOST important title he held, was being my father. He is dearly missed, but he would aptly say today- "The Dogs aren't going to Train Themselves"-, so off to Train & Teach!
