Here are some quick images and vid I took yesterday. We have a number of new boarders that are now with us and will update more to come shortly. Rest assured all the boarders are comfy and settled despite the high temperatures we had today. Enjoy your holidays!

These gorgeous boys were recently in care and this is quite video to show how the cage structure was for them as they are particularly hormonal at this time. Putting your grass/food on top of hidey areas will allow them to feel more secure and they can happily move about as and when they feel. The hanging item is acting as a screen that is not pinned at the bottom but that they can move about, under and around, but again acts as a bit of a space creator when they need it. Many people believe that guinea pigs will use and enclosed hutch or a allocated space to lie together. However they are no different from us and appreciate being able to find their own locations and have the freedom to choose. So if you have 3 pets, always ensure there are 3 nice hidey areas where they can choose to if they want. Of these three hideys they all act to serve a different prepose. They all have 2 entries and exits (which is imperative). The tunnel affords one piggie security where others cannot be beside or on top of. The larger walk under would allow all 3 if they wanted. Likewise the tunnel will allow 2. So you can see the different dynamics that are afforded. Get creative with spaces above, below and around that will afford them the balance they need.
