It is with a heavy heart to say that it is time to say farewell to Pepper. He is nearly 18 years old. Pepper did a back flip recently and we think that is the source of most of his pain. Blood work shows he has an infection. He has been on antibiotics and pain meds, but he can no longer stand and is yelping in pain all night last night. It would too hard on him to put him through any surgery at his age. Keeping him sedated on pain meds is not fair to him.
I love all my dogs but he is my special fur child:, a loyal, quirky, spoiled, sweet little man.
It all happened so fast..
Hold tight those you love and treasure them because this life is temporary , for all of us.
Please send good thoughts and prayers to Pepper as he begins his journey to cross over the rainbow bridge.
Below is a fun memory of Pepper that is so typical of him.
Love you forever,Pepperman. Thank you for sharing your life with me . Rest easy, friend.
Ginger and her neighbor, buddy, Zuko love to play together!
It’s so darn hot in Florida that the pavement burns the paws. The pet stroller comes in handy in hot days!
Pepper is jamming with Bruce Springsteen, singing Thunder Road
This page has been neglected for some time! We found some old video and pictures to share so you will notice that Pepper looks a little younger in some of these🙂
The dogs are enjoying their Sunday beef bones on the grass
M pepper spent more time chasing the fly away from his bone than enjoying his bone!
Poor Ginger is so scared of the thunder or fireworks. A friend of mine shared some CBD treats that sound promising to help with the anxiety.
