Cairo moved (again) with us to our forever home in rural Tennessee, east of Nashville, and is settling in nicely. There’s plenty of room to roam but he’s going to remain an indoor cat and promises to be on his best behavior. He’s exploring the new digs and seems to like it. More surprises coming soon - stay tuned! 🐱 ❤️

I have enough pictures of Cairo to pay off everyone’s fees!

Lost a library book? It doesn’t have to be a cat-astrophe. That’s because public libraries in Massachusetts, are accepting pictures of cats in return for late or damaged books.

The goal is to “get everyone back in the library” and “create a really low barrier” to get the fees forgiven.

The program is called “Felines for Fee Forgiveness!” and Worcester Public Library has had hundreds of items returned to them just days after it opened.

We made it! Cairo stayed in his carrier for a while but decided he’d be happier exploring the car and finding his own nap spots (no surprise). He was good traveler! He spent the day getting to explore the new house by himself - the dogs come tomorrow so I wanted him to know all the hiding places. G’night Cairo Nation! 🐱
