Rescue Animals In Need (RAIN) is a referral animal networking group run by volunteers of True Blue Animal Rescue for animals who have been rescued by members of the community and are either looking for their owner or a forever home. This page was created as a way to network animals for people who are trying to find their owner or to find new homes for them. If you want to adopt one, contact the pe

rson listed in the post. These are not True Blue Animal Rescue animals so we do not know if they have had vet care or not. We are sharing pictures that have been sent to us. It is your responsibility to contact the person with the pet and find that out. Their contact information and location will be listed in the post. If you want to foster a pet from this page for TBAR, we'll help get the vet care up to date if needed. Just email [email protected] and we'll send you an application for fostering. Fostered animals will be listed on True Blue Animal Rescue's website and page, and will be invited to our adoption days. All you need to do is provide, shelter, food and love!

I found this neglected and abandoned Sweetheart on a morning walk in my neighborhood almost two weeks ago. He had no collar or chip. Posted his pic on Facebook and on mailboxes in the neighborhood. I suspect he was dumped. I took him to the vet last week. He is a real sweetheart and I wish I could keep him but I can't.
Breed - Basset hound
5-6 years old
Size - 45 lbs.
Color - white with brown mixed in.
Heartworm Negative
Neutered

These 2 wonderful neutered male dogs Whiskey (10ish year old Husky/Pit mix) and Wylie (5ish year old Chihuahua/German Shepherd Mix) need a new home. Between new priorities, dwindled time, smaller living arrangements, and financial strain, giving our dogs the quality of life they deserve to live is just not a possible.

Both are great with children, love to play with other dogs as well as people, are up to date on all vaccines, and are on monthly Simparica Trio for prevention. We had a cat a few years ago that both dogs were around. Whiskey weighs around 80lbs, Wylie is around 25lbs, and both are established at Vanguard Vet Clinic in Cypress with Dr. Andrus.

My boys and I spotted Duke running up and down a very busy. I got out of the car and he came running up to me and promptly jumped in my car. He has been an absolute gem since he relaxed at our house!

The next day, I took him to a vet to see if they could scan for a microchip. He has one (I can provide the info). Attempts were made to contact both numbers he was registered to, but no one seems to claim responsibility for Duke. His chip also gave his name and bday (Duke, May 2022).

He is super affectionate once he gets to know you. I have taken him on several walks and he does not pull, obeys commands, heels, etc. He is a big dog, but he's incredibly gentle. He minds your space and does not jump up on people. If I had to guess on a breed, I'd probably say he has some mix of Belgian Malinois or possibly German Shepherd.

We have had Rocky in our household for about 9 months. He originally came to us when a family member moved in temporarily. When the family member moved out, he was not able to take Rocky with him so we would like to find Rocky a new home.

Rocky is a very sweet dog that is big and playful. My 81-year-old mother lives with us and is at risk with a dog Rocky’s size. She uses a walker to get around but is very unsteady even with the walker. His playfulness is a danger to her. While has never knocked her over, he has come close a few times. W

Rocky is about four years old, and he weighs about 70lbs. He is neutered, crate trained, follows basic commands and his vaccinations are current. Rocky’s personality is very playful, and he likes other dogs and people. He is very food motivated, and he likes to play with balls and play tug of war. He thinks he is a lap dog, and he will climb into anyone’s lap if you let him. His personality is incredibly sweet, and whoever ends up with him will consider themselves lucky.

My German Shepard mix needs a home. She is about 50 lbs and is a female. She is a brown color. She is spayed. She is up to date on her vaccinations. She is extremely friendly and does well with dogs; cats, and children.
I am surrendering her because I live in an apartment and I cannot offer her the space she needs. I cannot keep up with her on her walks and playtime since I am on total bed rest. I have nobody else to help me and would like someone to give her the space and attention she needs.

I need help finding a home with my current situation with a dumped stray dog in my Subdivision. I currently have 8 senior rescued dogs of my own in my house and cannot take another one in. He is not microchipped. The vet said he is about 2 years old.
He is the sweetest gentle guy, he follows people or other dogs just to be friends or to be petted, no aggression at all. I noticed him over a week ago and I placed food and water and blankets for him on my front porch and he kept coming. I decided to bring him in and he is doing great in the crate and decompressing.

This sweet boy needs a home. He was found at Lone Star College and his finder is allergic to dogs so she can't keep him long. He's sweet, cuddly, and likes hanging out. He's house trained and crate trained. He weighs about 35 pounds so he's not a big dog.
He's not chipped and he's not neutered (True Blue Animal Rescue will pay to neuter him)

I was feeding these young dogs on the side of a busy street off I20 for a couple of days- I finally convinced a guy at work to let me put them on his property in a kennel- this can only be temporary- it’s just not enough space for 5 dogs and his property is not fenced. They have had 1 round of shots now and I’m working on scheduling the 2 girls for spay but I need help finding rescue - I’m willing to help with transport.
