If you've ever wondered if a Walkie would work for you and your dog, read this letter from a humane society volunteer who walks all different breeds, sizes, and personalities of dogs:

"As a volunteer dog walker for my local Humane Society, I get all kinds of dogs but 90% of them are "pullers" or not leash trained at all. And ALL of them are excited to get out of their kennels.

I walk each dog for 30 minutes and that isn't a whole lot of time to get the dog leash trained and after a year of volunteering, my arm, neck and shoulders would ache after two hours of walking. Just today I walked a German Shepherd, a Tree Walker c**n hound, a low to the ground but ready to "plow" mix breed and another mix breed, no more than 50 # but alot of leg. Next time I may be walking Pitties, lab mixes or some other combo.

I share this because I needed a leash that is flexible to accommodate different sized dogs. And something that wouldn't trigger negative reaction but would still curb the pulling.

I purchased the Walkie through “in the company of dogs” website. Today was my first day using the walkie. I loved it. And while some of the dogs were "surprised" at the squeeze when they started pulling, they all settled in and walked for 30 minutes, allowing us both to focus on the burning of energy and not the pulling.

I wanted to let you know that your product was very helpful to me and allowed me to give the dogs an easier walk than with a standard lead. Thank you for your product, I will be recommending it to other fellow dog owners.
