Hi friends. We need to talk about Bruno. This silly boy is a 1-yr-old Aussiedoodle (Australian Shepherd/Poodle mix) who weighs 51 pounds. Bruno is seeking a new and forever home. His first family relinquished him because they grew weary of dealing with his affinity for eating rocks. Bruno recently underwent his THIRD emergency surgery to extract rocks from his intestines and his family finally decided they’d had enough of his shenanigans. The good news is that there’s an easy way to stop this from happening again. Bruno needs to wear a basket muzzle when he is outdoors so that he can’t be naughty and pick up dangerous items. Also, he should not be unsupervised outside. With these two safeguards in place it is reasonable to believe that Bruno should not have this issue ever again. Bruno’s new humans have to take this problem seriously because Bruno cannot keep having surgery over and over again. He is fortunate to have done well with the three previous surgeries but it cannot happen again.
Aside from his rock addiction, Bruno is a pretty perfect boy. He is gentle, loving and obedient. He gets along beautifully with other dogs of all sizes. He is crate-trained and seems to be housebroken. He is a good passenger in the car and good on leash. As long as you keep rocks away from him, you will have yourself a fine fella who is a wonderful (and handsome!) companion.
