We lost Kevvy 38 days ago, but some strange things have happened since then.….
- On the day that Kevvy crossed the 🌈 bridge, we randomly ended up in a park in a town we had never been to before. The park was Kevin (Kev) Memorial Park.
- The next night we ordered pizza through Uber Eats. The pizza was delivered by Kevin and we got a text saying to keep our phone close by incase Kevin needed to call. Have never had that message before when ordering through Uber Eats.
- On the day that Kevvy’s ashes got delivered to us, the living room lamp turned on at the exact time the lady walked through the front gate (just after 10am). This lamp is on a timer to come on at sunset through an app and can’t be turned on through the switch. That night the lamp didn’t come on when it was supposed to. The next day it was back to normal.
- One of Kevvy’s favourites, Sue, changed her phone background to Kevin. Earlier this week, she changed it back to her cat, Oscar, and overnight it changed back to Kevin again.
- Kevvy’s song has come on at really random times, when we have needed to hear it most. It has come on twice at pilates (bear in mind this isn’t a song that would be on normal play lists) with two different instructors. Each time it’s like he’s saying it’s ok, it’s ok, I’m here.
- We have found paw prints in the dust on the lamp base in our theatre room, where Kevvy and Mally used to play on the carpet.
We like to believe it’s all Kevvy saying that he’s still around 💖

Hey it’s @toocutegoldies mum here.
Look at how the two of them are playing! It doesn’t seem like much to everybody else but poor Kev was really lost after Duncy got his Angel wings. At first he wouldn’t eat and he was throwing up and was so sad. He wouldn’t interact much with Mally and he lost his cheerfulness in general.
We have seen that come back in the last 6-8 weeks and he is instigating play and teasing (like he used to tease Dunc) and it makes our hearts burst.
Dunc will never be forgotten but it’s nice to see our boy blossom again 💖

Mum is teaching me how to sniff more to try and help with my anxiety as sniffing will help calm me. Apparently I don’t sniff much, especially when I’m stressed or there are ‘things’ happening 🤷♀️Keep putting treats down mum and I’ll learn whatever you want me to!!!!
