UPDATE: Class is Full
Summer trick dog class taught by Keri!
Trick dog class will be 5 weeks long, running from Wednesday, June 29th through Wednesday, July 27th.
Time: 6:00pm-7:00pm
Cost: $125
Important information:
- I am capping the class at 10 dog/handler teams. If you want into the class, you need to let us know and get on the list. I am not requiring a deposit, so I ask that if you get on the list and then learn you won't be able to attend, you let us know ASAP!
- For the first class (June 29th) you MUST bring a crate or extra person to hold your dog! We will be doing quite a bit without the dogs and I need you to have all of your attention on what we are learning.
- The first class is mandatory! If you can't make it to the first class, you cannot attend the others.
- Unlike our normal obedience classes, if you miss a class there is no way to make it up.
Equipment:
- Flat collar
- Standard 6' leash
- TREATS (A variety of low and high value treats/kibble, we will talk about ideas the first week if you need help)
Please note that this class requires that your dog is able to focus on you (and the treats you have) when around other dogs. You will be training your dog to do highly detailed commands, some of which will be off lead. Thus, if you are spending lots of time trying to get your dog's attention, you will not get everything out of this class.
Last post for tonight. Mandy is learning CPR. Ok our version of cpr.
Today is Mandy’s birthday and Keri got her a present 🎁. Mandy has to open it all by herself. Ranelle Grove a little bit of dog jerky in the bag did the trick!!!
Maggie Thompson the singing duo. Just know it was not our fault!! You sent your dog here!!!! 😃
Had a good class tonight. Now looking forward to Wednesday night. Puppy class is at 5:45 and obedience class is at 6:30. Here is a short video of a circle of doom!!!!
And sometimes you can’t be out done by your distant cousin!!!!
Here is a video of Tucker one of the dogs in our class. For those that have been around Tucker he is a little stubborn and wants to do what he wants a lot of the time. I think he has found what he likes. 😆👍
