Another Frenchie at East Valley Shelter turned in as a “stray” and unable to use his back legs. This is Pharaoh, he is very sweet and only has until the end of today 12/27 to be rescued or he will be euthanized. Animal ID . 💔

We were contacted by the shelter to see if we can help this poor Frenchie girl at the North Central Shelter. She was surrendered by her owner and is only 2 years old. She will be euthanized Dec 22nd if not rescued. Unfortunately, we do not have the funds to help her as she will need likely need an MRI and possibly surgery which runs about $12,000-$15,000. Unless there is some kind person who would like to cover the cost of her surgery or maybe another rescue that can help her. 💔💔😢

GIVING TUESDAY: 2023 was a great year and we were able to help many dogs in need thanks to the generous people who donated to our rescue. If you would like to make a year end donation so that we can kick off 2024 that would be so helpful. This dog is Pinky, who was a stray and got hit by a car. Some kids saw it happen and took him to a vet clinic to get help. We took him into our rescue and got him surgery and now he’s is all fixed up. He found a forever home with his wonderful foster mom Rosemary who gives him so much love. Look at the last picture, what a difference!

Help!! We need a foster for this sweet little puppy named Teetee. She is recovering from a skin infection so needs to be kept separate from other pets or a home with no other pets would be best. Pinky is one lucky dog. He was hit by a car and some kids scooped him up and took him to an ER vet. The vet stabilized him and then he was taken to the local shelter where it was so overcrowded that if they impounded him, he would have been euthanized immediately. So we stepped in to help Pinky. He had surgery to repair his fractured leg and is healing well so far. We really are in need of donations to finish up the last part of his care which includes rechecks, bandage changes and x-rays. This girl is Glennie. She is very sweet and loves affection. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. She is a Labradoodle who has is about 3 years old and weighs 42 pounds. She gets along well with other dogs and is active. She was used for breeding and ended up in the shelter. She has a double ear infection and a UTI that we are treating her for. She needs a foster home or better yet, a forever home! South Bay/Los Angeles area. Any donations for her vetting are greatly appreciated. ❤️

Our newest rescue Leo. He is about 1 year old, 8 pounds, good with other dogs and loves to play. He is a little shy when meeting new people but warms up within minutes. He is an active boy who will need daily exercise and someone who is not gone long hours.

Jessie is available for adoption. He is approximately 2 years old and weighs 12 pounds. He is good with other dogs and is shy when meeting new people. He loves to cuddle and follow you around. Please give this boy the forever home that he deserves.

Can you help Hope by donating to her medical treatment? Hope lived a rough life before she was dumped at the shelter. She needed help immediately and our rescue stepped up to save her. She battled mange, skin infections, and eye issues which we were finally able to fix.

Then Hope started having swelling to her eye that after extensive and expensive testing, a definitive cause could not be found. Hope's eye doctor recommended that her eye be removed because the swelling could not be controlled with medication. When the eye was removed, a tumor was found behind the eye. The tumor was diagnosed as a low grade nerve sheath tumor. These tumors do not spread or invade so we are hopeful for a good outcome but Hope now needs radiation for her best chance at recovery.

We have come this far with Hope and would hate to give up now. We feel that we need to continue to fight with her because she continues to thrive and fight. Throughout the entire ordeal, Hope has remained happy, energetic and full of life. She has not had one bad day ever. You would never know that anything is wrong with her because she is always happy, we call her "Happy Feet"! Please help us to save Hope, she deserves it!

Loreta thought it will be an easy one, but Polly was scared, injured with broken ribs, and she wouldn't surrender to us.
We tried a few gentle approaches, and then Loreta's inner ninja had to come out, and the rest of the story is just beautiful - ESPECIALLY the transformation 🥰🥰🥰

HELP! Last minute foster home needed. Smooch Pooch Dog Rescue is looking for a foster home for this sweet boy. He is a purebred Schnauzer, almost 2 years old, 26 pounds and is good with people and kids, 6 and up, not sure about toddlers. He is a little anxious of other dogs so a home without dogs would be best for now. UPDATE: Dexter has been adopted!

Meet Dexter!! He is an adorable Bernedoodle that needs a new home preferably in the Southern California area but will consider further if it is a perfect match. His owner is surrendering him out of love because she does not have enough time for him as he is needy and wants all the attention. He is just under 2 years old and weighs approximately 92 pounds. He is good with other dogs but would be best in a home with dogs on the bigger side. He is great with kids and loves all people. Because of his size, we will not place him in a home with young children or small dogs. He needs a home where his people are not gone long hours. He is house broken, crate trained and has gone through professional training. Negative comments are not helpful and will be deleted. New rescue girl Shallot. No one wanted to adopt this sweet little girl at the shelter because she had mange and is missing lots of hair. We rescued her and she is safe. She’s sweet as can be, about a year old and weighs 6 pounds. She loves other dogs and is good with cats. We typically adopt in Southern California and we do not ship our dogs. 🆘Hi friends, I am reaching out for help. Smooch Pooch Dog Rescue received an emergency call for help early this morning 3/5 with a dog. The dog was found Wednesday night in a trash pile in Compton outside of a business. The dog had a pr*****ed re**um with maggots, she was cold and in shock. The finder tried to find a vet and rescues to help but had no luck and she had no money. We received her call this morning and rushed the dog to ACCESS Specialty & ER in Torrance as she was in bad shape and needed immediate medical attention. I have spoken to both the critical care ER doctor and the surgeon and she needs surgery immediately to save her life. She has a pr*****ed re**um with a lot of necrotic (dead) tissue with a bad infection. She may also have some infection that spread to her abdomen so they need to do an abdominal exploratory surgery as well as x-rays, blood work, etc. The high end of the estimate is $9336, which I realize is very expensive but if anyone can donate any amount, we would greatly appreciate it as this will save her life and help our rescue as we cannot afford the bill on our own. Raffi’s rescue was challenging but luckily Eldad & Loreta from Hope For Paws Rescue were committed to saving him. We have partnered with them to find his forever home.
