We're so close to reaching our goal of finding forever homes for 15 amazing cats this holiday season! With just 13 cats left, today we're shining a spotlight on Pete, a sweet 5-month-old who is ready to bring endless joy to the right family. 🐾

Pete loves playing, snuggling, and cuddling up with his favorite humans. He’s a true snuggle bug who enjoys being close to those he loves.

However, Pete has one little quirk—he can get a bit stressed when moving from place to place, which sometimes causes him to have diarrhea. But don't worry! Once he settles in, he returns to his happy, healthy self.

Pete is looking for a loving, patient family who will give him the time he needs to adjust to his new home. If you're looking for a cuddly companion to spend cozy nights with, Pete might just be the perfect match for you!

Each year this team gets together to collect pumpkins from the mississauga area to bring to the animals at the sanctuary!! They collect thousands of pumpkins for the animals to munch on all winter!!

This year they again outdid themselves!!!

Today she spent the day eating pumpkins and getting extra treats and attention from the volunteers.

It's a very busy week at the sanctuary filled with vet visits.

Today, Cinder went into the vet for his special neuter surgery.

Cinder was born with a heart murmur, which makes surgery a bit more risky for him. Thankfully, our vet has a heart safe protocol for sedation medication that is specially designed for little kitties like him.

He did absolutely amazing -- and is officially neutered.

He also was officially adopted today by the most amazing family.

Congrats, Cinder, on your forever life ❤️ and a HUGE thank you to our amazing vets who did such an amazing job with his surgery ❤️


This $5 Friday will be for Cinder to help us raise the cost of his special surgery. Stay tuned!!!

🌞 Ms Petunia enjoying a sunny fall day! There's nothing quite like grazing on fresh grass and soaking up the sun. 🌿 This little cutie is a reminder to take a moment and appreciate the simple joys in life.

Today's daylight saving time, which means tomorrow bedtime chores will be done much earlier.

The pigs spend their days by the sun -- and tuck themselves into their stalls at dusk no matter when dusk approaches.

Winter means a bit of hibernation for the animals at the sanctuary-- as the amount of day light is much less 😴 (and it means super late night's in the summer 🤣🤣)
