Want your business to be the top-listed Pet Store/pet Service?
My Story in Short.
Hi Everyone, Thank you for coming to my business page where you can see photos of loved and cherished members of your family who I care for, you can also read reviews from some clients who use Facebook and have been kind enough to leave their thoughts for others to see. You find pricing details here and availability dates for the year.
I have had a keen interest in animals my whole life, we had a Westie growing up so I started my life with a dog in it! It wasn’t until 2005 when I got my own first dog (long awaited!) he was called Barney and was a Collie-Cross Corgi who I rescued in Birmingham when he was only 4 months old. I spent numerous months beforehand reading lots of dog related books and training books to try and ready myself for my new arrival. He had a fantastic life but sadly lost his battle to cancer aged 10 in 2015 (The worst day of my life) as I am sure many of you can understand!
I spent some time volunteering for Animals in Distress in Ipplepen, walking many and various dogs with different needs. I wanted to be able to offer a window of happiness to them in their sad life whilst waiting for their forever home. It was so hard not to come home with them all but so satisfying when they finally got their forever homes :) and became a success story.
In 2013 I was given the opportunity to become a Foster Mum for the Charity Welsh Poundies and along came the whirlwind Rocky. A Dalmatian cross Labrador who was a bounding, full of energy 5 year old who had come from living his first 5 years in a garden in Wales - not trained, not used to a lead, a car, a house, toys or playing like a dog, scared of lots of things and already failed with 3 previous foster parents.........It was like having a puppy but 5 years into his life. I put a lot of time and effort into helping Rocky and unfortunately no one was biting at adverts to adopt him as their own, so yes, you guessed it, I adopted him and he became mine!
