Say hello to one of the newbies that dropped onto the website on Friday evening! Those gingerbreads look so damn cosy up in that hot chocolate bath! It’s making me positively hungry for the Christmas festivities to start! I’m looking forward to hopefully enjoying a bit more of Christmas this year as my event schedule isn’t as crazy as the past few years! I might actually get to go as a customer to a few 👀 so tell me where are you going for your Christmas fix? Bonus points if there not overly busy, this girl right here gets overwhelmed in big crowds 🙋‍♀️

Harry here, I’m taking over the task of posting on instagram because mummy can’t seem to do it anymore?! 🤔 Not sure why but she said something about being too busy making people’s Christmas orders? *Ginny update* It’s been one hell of a week (and a bit) but I finally feel ready to openly post on instagram about Ginny and her recovery from her latest bout of IVDD. You may have noticed I’ve been extremely quiet on here and downright awful at replying to messages and for which I’m so sorry but my mind has been constantly consumed with Ginny. A week Friday, Ginny lost the use of her front and back leg on her left hand side. I woke up to find her unable to move in her crate and shaking in pain. We rushed her straight to the vets who referred her straight to the specialist who had her in for an emergency MRI which confirmed what we all knew, a disk in her neck had ‘gone’ they took her straight from the MRI straight into emergency surgery. They worked absolute miracles. Managing to remove as much of the impacted disk in her neck that was compressing the spinal cord as possible. We were able to pick her up on Monday and while it’s not been easy, I’m so relieved shes back home. We’ve had lots of barking and crying (both me and Ginny) but everyday she is getting better and stronger. Im hoping that this coming week will be a bit more ‘normal’ but if I start replying to your message and suddenly stop typing, Ginny is probably demanding my attention, please do just give me an extra nudge. Love to you all, your orders are appreciated so much, this is my full time job and with vet bills to pay on-top of just general life bills I cannot express how much I appreciate every single one. Xx

I just wanted to say the biggest thank you to firstly Laura Baggott Sarah Baggott and the rest of her amazing small team for organising another FABULOUS Southwold Sausage Walk and a huge thank you to all our wonderful customers 🤎 I will be honest, it was really touch and go whether I was going to be able to come as Ginny went in for emergency surgery on Friday for IVDD after loosing the use of both her front and back legs on the left hand side. After a phone call Saturday morning saying she was recovering incredibly well but she would need to stay in the hospital as they reduced down the amount of pain killers I made the decision to pack the van up and drive on over to Southwold as I knew there was absolutely nothing I could do by just sitting at home waiting. I decided to not tell people in advance about Ginny as I knew I would likely burst into tears when talking about her. But being at an event raising money and awareness for Dedicated to Dachshunds it seemed like the perfect way to be able to feel like I was helping Ginny in some way. When we were setting up it became apparent very quickly that a lot of my items just weren’t going to stay on the table that wind was next level 💨 😂 so I do apologise for the awful display and the fact we had to put the bandanas into baskets 🙈, when you’ve worked for days on end making products that you then can’t show it’s slightly soul crushing but we had such a wonderful day and I know it didn’t stop you guys having a good old rummage to try and find the size and design you wanted 🫶

I’m delighted to say Ginny is now home, navigating her care is tough but she is doing so incredibly well and I’m so relieved for the amazing job and care the surgeons took with my baby girl. So if you came and saw me and thought hey she wasn’t her normal bubbly self, you know why. If you weren’t able to get to the basket of bandanas and want to have a browse of what’s left please do drop me a message and I will send you photos of what is left with sizes available alternatively I’ll pop my website at the bottom of this post. As sausage dog owners we all know insurance for dachshunds is a must, but with the cost of the emergency mri and operation we are already at the end of insurance cover so every single sale I make I cannot tell you how much it means to me. This is my full time job and your support keeps me going not only financially but mentally as well. So thank you so so much. Poor Gin Gin is back on crate rest for an IVDD flare up, we are hoping it will be a shorter stint than her last one and that with the right pain medication and rest she will recover without the need for surgery. She’s a strong little sausage and I know she will beat this again and will be back to her mischievous self soon. In the meantime the enrichment toys are fully prepped for those moments of sheer frustration she’s going to get as she starts to recover.

I kid you not, today I sat in the Kwik Fit waiting room, hand-stitching labels onto a whole load of bandanas 🧵, praying my van would pass its MOT. Why? Because tomorrow I’m heading to and yep, I left it all to the last minute again 🙈.⁣

Correct answer: Coming to see us at Edition Dog Live! 🐾 We’re back for our third year at our favorite INDOOR show!

This year, the show has expanded into 2 halls, but don’t worry—we’re in the same spot as last year. ☺️ It’s going to be a fun-filled day with lots of new additions, and I can’t wait to give your dogs the biggest cuddle and get them wearing the best quality bandanas around. 😂 but these are your words that you repeatably tell me, not mine 🤎
