I kid you not, today I sat in the Kwik Fit waiting room, hand-stitching labels onto a whole load of bandanas 🧵, praying my van would pass its MOT. Why? Because tomorrow I’m heading to and yep, I left it all to the last minute again 🙈.⁣

Correct answer: Coming to see us at Edition Dog Live! 🐾 We’re back for our third year at our favorite INDOOR show!

This year, the show has expanded into 2 halls, but don’t worry—we’re in the same spot as last year. ☺️ It’s going to be a fun-filled day with lots of new additions, and I can’t wait to give your dogs the biggest cuddle and get them wearing the best quality bandanas around. 😂 but these are your words that you repeatably tell me, not mine 🤎

As we all know, Harry is my number one model boy🥇 The camera comes out, and he knows how to secure the goods (treats). Lily is definitely following in his footsteps—she’s a fellow piggy. 🐷

Ginny, on the other hand, has the attention span of… well, if we’re being honest… me. So you better snap that photo before she’s off chasing the next thing!

Their temperaments are all so different, and I absolutely LOVE them for it. ❤️

P.S. I still hate this photo frame and really must make a new one. SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME. 🙄

Guess who’s back… 🙈😂 well I’m gunna try 😂 Why do I struggle so much with posting on this app these days! I think I’m still in mourning for the old Instagram, the Instagram where the like count didn’t bother me becase my posts were seen by more than 20 people 😂 anyway to the 20 of you that get to see this post Lily has passed her puppy foundation!! 🎉🎉And I’m so freaking proud of her (she actually passed it 2 weeks ago, got the certificate last week and it’s taken me a week to actually work up the courage to post on instagram again) make that make sense because I’m still unsure on why it’s been so long since I posted…. But anyway hi 👋 I’m back bi***es 👋

The greys might be showing but ain’t nothing stopping this girl on her 7th birthday! Last birthday Ginny spent the day in the garden after a long stint of crate rest was relaxed when she was struck down with IVDD this 7th birthday you wouldn’t think this was the same girl racing round that enclosed field like she owned the place. Happiest of birthdays to my wild child, baby girl, Gin Gin love you

I’m so in love with this event & live sale only fabric 🌸 and when I saw this gorgeous pup yesterday I just knew she was going to look absolutely gorgeous in it! If you want to get your hands on one you need to come see us at our next show or join our next live as I don’t think this fabric is going to be around for much longer!!

COME ALONG FOR OUR FUN DOG SHOW TOMORROW AT Tewkesbury's BIG Weekend!

Registration opens at 10.30 and closes when the class enters the ring. Judging starts at 11.30. The show will run as follows:

10:30 – Registration opens
11:30 – Cutest Puppy (under 1 year) and Golden Oldie (8 years+)
12:00 – Loveliest lady (female dogs of any age)
12:30 – Handsome male (male dogs of any age)
13:00 – Top rescue (rescue dogs) - Sponsored by The Raw Dog Food Shop
13:30 – Break with entertainment
14:30 – Best Pawshake and/or Waggiest tail – Sponsored by Kids Clothes Outlet
15:00 – Dog the judges would most like to take home (all dogs)

Entries cost £2 per class and first, second and third place winners in each class will receive a rosette and dog goodie bag.

In addition to the dog show there are stallholders selling homemade gifts, pet treats, children’s entertainment and refreshments. Plus there will be a parade, ending in the Vineyards and lots of other fun events taking place on the river and in the town centre.

Mumma and me Monday! After spending our first event of the season together this Saturday, Lily proved herself to be quite the good sales assistant! We are gunna have to train her up on the till I think so she can earn her keep ☺️ Next question is do I take her to next weekend…. What do you reckon?

Vision… it’s the last day of March meet the maker 😅 Phew I made it!! 7 years of Harry and 7 years of making him a birthday bandana each year! This meet the maker post today is ‘product story’ and I think you can see the progression of our bandanas throughout the years! The bandana in the last photo is the first I ever made, on the morning of Harry’s 1st birthday before heading off to the park. Some things never change. Every year you will find me on his birthday in front of the sewing machine making sure he’s ready for his day!

Positive - well this is a weird prompt from meet the maker… BUT when I think positive I think positivity and I can’t help but think of two small business owners who’s positivity is infectious and they have undoubtedly spurred me on! ⁣

These two amazing women have made me dream bigger than I ever thought possible. Ladies you really have no clue what an impact you’ve both had on my life! Lo even trusted me enough to let me loose amongst all those gorgeous dogs at crufts! An amazing experience I definitely won’t forget! 🤎 so & I love you and thank you from the bottom of my heart! ⁣

Details… This, in my opinion, is the thing which sets apart small businesses like my own compared to mass made products of large business. You can rest in the knowledge that so much care & attention to detail is put into every single item I make. A day in the life….well this day in the life perfectly sums up my life… ⁣

1.30 So I actually didn’t check what todays prompt was for March meet the makes was until lunch… Soooo things are already going great but all I’ve really done today so far is pack any tiktok orders that came in overnight and sew what feels like a million bandanas ⁣
⁣
2pm DPD arrived to take the TikTok orders , I took this time to go make a drink before going up to my office to make more bandanas ⁣
⁣
2.15 - who on earth is this at the door, oh ok it’s a delivery, stop sewing and unpack new delivery from Jr , time to take photos and pop them onto the TikTok shop. Oh and put a cheeky flash sale on them. ⁣
⁣
3-5pm just keep sewing just keep sewing, what do we do we just sew sew sew. Busy working my way through a HUGE list of orders. Honestly so extremely thankful for each and every one! ⁣

⁣
5-6 let’s get us all fed, Bella and Duke for the pups on their LickiMat wobble and Slomo and Spaghetti bolognaise for us on normal plates, although maybe I should try a slo feeder on our meals…..⁣

Process - ok I very nearly forgot to post this today 😅 But here we are at 11.45pm about to post on instagram 😂 in terms of process each item I make is individually cut, sewn, shaped, and hand finished. Is it time intensive yes! Is it lucrative, absolutely not, but what I do get is an unbelievable sense of pride taking something from raw materials to something beautiful that I know a dog is going to look absolutely gorgeous wearing!

Challenge - I feel like this whole running a business thingy ma bob is one long challenge! Most of the time I absolutely love it, others I feel like just taking a long break from it! My biggest challenge I’m facing currently is just getting my posts seen. Collections - Did you know you can shop by collection in our website? Since designing the website from scratch myself I’ve tried to keep shopping super easy on there. With lots of different ways to shop the categories and collections I’m genuinely interested how you navigate our website! Do you use the search bar because you know exactly what you’re looking for? Or do you browse by category or maybe you just shop the new in tab. However you shop I’d love to know! Just so I can focus my attention on making the website even more user friendly!
