On October 10th, I lost my Belgian, Rogue. If you have taken classes with me, private lessons, or if we were in class together both as students, you probably met him. He was my first competition dog, although we didn't get started until his golden years.

Rogue did not get the memo that Belgians are supposed to be aloof and reserved. I often joked he was a golden retriever in a Belgian body. He was happy to do anything, as long as it was with me.

Give your dog an extra treat tonight in Rogue's memory. I miss him so much. My heart is shattered.

Happy Graduation to my Friday night Beginner level 1! I have a soft spot in my heart for this class. Not only was it an absolutely blast teaching these folks and their dogs, but they saw me at my worst and made it so easy and as nonawkward as possible. I'm so grateful.

Special thanks to my Beginner class tonight, who were very understanding every time I started crying and had to excuse myself. I wasn't even sure I could get through the class, but I did. I appreciate y'all so much.

Last night I very unexpectedly said goodbye to my Big Blue Dog. My heart is broken. If I take longer to answer inquiries or have a hard time getting through classes, please be patient with me. I'm in complete shock and I usually don't cuss on this page, but....

Please help me wish my first dog, Apollo, a very happy 13th birthday! I have had Apollo for longer than I've been a trainer. My friend showed me a video of this puppy her mom found under a bush, and the next day I had the little bush baby as an, let's say "impromptu," graduation gift to myself.
