Your heart dog is the dog who comes along once in a lifetime as your canine soul mate. Last night, I had the honor of helping my best friend’s heart dog and my nephew, Pepe. After a relaxing visit to the beach (one of his favorite places), we said good-bye. Amazingly, Pepe had become a service dog several years ago after doing chest compressions on her which saved her life….he had never received any training before doing that! In all my years, I’ve never seen a paw print like this…look closely, he was literally her heart dog❤️. The ones closest to me are the hardest but I couldn’t imagine not being there for my friends and family in their time of need. We love you Pepe and will miss you always…until we see you again🌈
