Another great weekend with Pas De Cheval Dressage Show Series and Meadow View Farm! Thank you Stacie, Pam, Mary, and all the wonderful volunteers who help run these shows so smoothly. A short and sweet day but some great rides had by all! 🥰 Photos below!

What an incredible day for our 2nd show of the 2024 season. We always need to thank our judges and today Mary Brown gave us fantastic feedback and encouragement to build on for the next event. Thank you for building confidence in our riders and always having a kind word. How lucky are we to have Meadow View Farms as our hosting venue, with everything looking pristine in perfection we love showing at this farm.
Also, to Kelsey Mcartney for your time to get pictures of our day and to capture the important moments for our riders 💓
Lastly, please do a huge shout out to our volunteers whom step up when needed in order to provide you these opportunities.
Jeanette for always being there for me to score and help run the office and staying late to help me clean up and load up horses after a long day, Debra for being our scribe and having great Wit to keep us going, and lastly Stephanie, the rockstar of the gate and Arena. You are a gem and had us so ahead of schedule I'm thinking you have pure magic in that voice.
I'm so incredibly thankful for a team of friends who help me put these shows on, the best tribe of horsewomen around.

Good morning!
Show office opens at 8am. It will be located in the RV between outdoor arena and indoor.

Also, indoor arena will be used for warmup in the am. After 10:30 outdoor arena will be available.

Spokane/CDA hands down has the most incredible community. I want to thank all of the wonderful people it took to produce this weekends show in order for it to run so smoothly. Our amazing judge Helena Rouhe Beat who has for 3 years in a row invested in our show as a Judge, giving her knowledge back to the community as well as bringing in reputable clinicians while running her own training facility. Equally important is Melissa Kossuth who has ran side by side with Helena as our scribe for 3 years and deserves a huge round of applause for all those tests she records and legible may I add!
Jeanette Facer is my right hand gal, she has always been my rock to help as a scorer and show secretary while I run wild. She even managed to slip away and compete in a few classes this time.
Every show we recognize the priceless value of volunteers. I have been blessed w friends, barn mates who step up for me consistently. This show we need to thank Cindy Bentzen and Krystal Keith as our gate crew, a huge role in keeping us on time and organized. Both are dressage riders and amazing women.
Our photographer at Light & Passion Photography was an absolute delight all day continuing to click away even during the monsoon
Lastly...Monroe Farms. Amanda Bryant is not only the barn owner, but a dear friend to me and words can not express the love and appreciation I have for her and her entire family who willingly volunteered their time to learn every aspect of managing a show this weekend to help us be successful.
We thank you all for continuing to support this show to bring dressage to Spokane in a schooling show environment. We had a full show and it was absolutely beautiful.

As we get closer to show day, let's go over a few rules to show respect for our Hosting barn. This is an active breeding and boarding facility that has been gracious to let us use their facilities.
1. No dogs allowed
2. Horses in chain link fence- no horses near them
3. Stallion barn is a small 9 stall barn , no horses allowed.
4. Unless you have a stall you should not be walking through the main barn with a horse.
5. Warm up arena will be the outdoor arena that will be near the dressage court.
6. Clean up manure from walkways and driveway
7. Please do not touch the new foals . Mom's are protective.
8. Please do not lien or climb on outdoor arena fence.... She's trying to hang on but...barely..she's old .

Meet your Judge:
April 27th, 2024
Monroe Farms

An equestrian for the past forty-five years, competing in pony club, AQHA circuit regionally and nationally with multiple championships. Training dressage since 1993. I am a USDF L graduate, I have earned my USDF Bronze, Bronze Bars and Silver medals. Successfully competed through Intermediate-1 with some Grand Prix experience.

Connection between horse and rider is my passion. Understanding the biomechanics and mental state of the horse and rider pair both individually and as a team is critical to creating a training plan that brings out the best in everyone. Horses are great teachers. I have a 2015 PRE, whose main job he has decided is to keep me humble. I think riding clinics/lessons are all about helping us understand what our horses are teaching us. I work closely with trainers who understand this and help me with my own horse. Then I do my best to impart my knowledge to others to help them on their journey.

Trailer Parking will be out in the back field. We have some broodmares/babies in the chain link fence please do not walk your horses near them.
We also have a few stallions in a separate 9 stall barn that will be marked as well.

Our first show will be held at Monroe Farms in Deer Park, WA.
