Hey everyone! Going on a two for two podcast posting streak! (I promise there'll be a lizard post after the upcoming NARBC: North American Reptile Breeders Conference show!)

A week ago today I got to visit the collection of the Lindsey brothers over at The Reptile Barn.
They’ve been consistently breeding Philippine sailfin dragons for the past few years and they also work with a wide array of very cool snakes (Drymarchon, Thamnophis, and more). Bonus photo of one of my favorite python species they are working with: Savu Pythons!

I’ve come to the realization that I’m just not too good at taking lizard photos, so it’s a lot easier if I hold the lizard and let a professional do the camera work.
So all credit to my amazing sister (who’s birthday is today too!🎂 Happy birthday sis!) for getting some great outdoor photos of this female Philippine sailfin dragon!
She’s a looker!
Last photo is my hand to show her colors aren’t edited since I know someone is gonna whine about the yellows, blues and purples.
This lizard was produced by Dragon Attack from the best of the best captive bloodlines dating back to 1992!

Wanted to offer a big thank you to Reptichip - Premium Coconut Substrate for featuring me for this month's "Chipper Spotlight!"
I've been using their substrate for a while now and have had great success using it for the water dragons, sailfin dragons, and my corn snakes!

Caught her in the act of covering up her nest! She wasn’t too happy with me peeping!
First clutch from this female Sulawesi black sailfin dragon (Hydrosaurus celebensis), likely infertile with only two small eggs. But hopefully a good sign of things to come!

A few months ago my Aunt was kind enough to bring her high resolution “macro” camera lens and got some AWESOME up close photos of the lizards.
Mother nature did some great work in perfecting the scale intricacies!
