Hewwoooooooooooo to ebrybuddy and a wunnerful start to da new week to all da Rocketeers!!

We want to apologize for not getting holiday cards out dis year. Da mommy was so discombobulated wif the passing ob her mommy in July and da new found responsibilities ob looking apfter her mentally ill brother and keeping an eye on her 91 year old dad, dat she just couldn’t make da time. Ob course, dat’s all added to her own usual depressions.

But wait! Just as she was tinking, “you know, I really should send out a few cards filled with love and appreciation” she got suuuuuuuuuuuper sick. For about a week now she’s had a feber, aches, cough wif green stuff in her chest….. and she thought, “hmmmm, the best way to show love and appreciation to the friends is to NOT seal the envelope with icky germs.”

So, basically what we’re saying about not sending out cards is— you’re welcome!!! Bwahaha

But we habs a big tank you for all da wunnerful greetings we habs receibed!!

We habs da most fantastic friends, generous ob spirit and full ob kindness and smiles to share!

Hewwooooooo hey hi howdy-do to all da Rocketeers on dis fabulous Friendship Friday!! It’s da pawfect day to remind each ob you dat you hold a special place in our hearts and we appreciate you eber so much!!

Well, da mommy took me to see da dogtor dis week and he confirmed her sneaking suspicions….. I am showing bery early signs ob Canine Cognitibe Dysfunction. Da mommy knows all da signs since her first rescued Maltese, Abby, developed it too, and dey libbed wif it for 6 years until she passed away one day apfter her 17fth birfday.
Dat, and da mommy worked for decades as an art and music therapist in da geriatric population, and dementia is bery similar across species.

But not to worry!! Da mommy says dat she lubs me eben more!!!! And she doesn’t know how it’s pawssible, but her lubs keeps growing ebry day!

For doze friends who don’t know, I already habs congestibe heart failure and da start ob a collapsing trachea… da mommy does her bestest to make sure I’m content and comfy, and will certainly continue to do so. I’m just 10 years old, so I habs lots more time for mischiefs!

We send giant hugs filled wif friendship and hope to ebry single friend- old and new!! And we appreciate all your kindness, and all da light you bring to da world. Now pass along doze smiles wif reckless abandon and habs a wunnerful weekend!!

Hewwooooooooooooooo friends and furples and Rocketeers all!!!!!

Boy- dis is a tricky Tongue Out Tuesday as I continue wif da uncooperatibe trend! Someting just isn’t quite right wif me, and da mommy and da dogtor are working really hard to see if it is someting treatable. Da mommy has a gut instinct as to what’s going on- but just wants to rule out anyting medical. She’s a bit oberprotectibe like dat…

Meanwhile, da mommy has da snifflies and kinda barks like a harp seal. We bofe do lots ob napping and staying cozy under blankies now dat our obernight temps habs dropped into da 20’s. Dat’s chilly chilly for dis area ob western TN. So, if you’re feelin’ frosty - come on ober and join in da warm snuggles!!

We hope dat no matter how chilly it is outside, you stay warm wrapped in da blanket ob friendship and keep da smiles bright in your hearts!

Da mommy got a sooprize in da mail yesterday!! Well, actually, *I* got a sooprize! Dat’s right! It was addressed to ME! But da mommy opened it up- and her heart got all warm, cause it wasn’t really a gift FOR me- it was a gift OF me!! Tank you so much to Mae Richmond and her girl Miss Juneau for da lubly pawtrait.

Hewwoooo hewwooooo to all da Rocketeers!!! It’s da start ob a new week, wif new challenges, new rewards and amazing possibilities!!

Da mommy decided to re-introduce a tricky treat toy. You see, I’m bery good at sliding tings, also pulling and pushing, but sometimes, I‘ll just cheat by picking da whole ting up and dropping it upside down!!

Dis toy was more difficult ‘cause little flaps had to be lifted up. Through trial and error, (make dat LOTS ob errors…) I finally got all da hidden goodies. If you click each picture it’ll tell da story ob da Tricky Treatos!!!

So, just like me and da dispenser difficulties, you gotta work through da challenges dat lie ahead. Sometimes tings are frustrating, and sometimes tings don’t go da way you expect. But keep at it and find da solution dat works and reap da rewards.

Bonus points for keeping a smile on your face!!!

Hewwoooooooooo Rocketeers!!!!

I spy wif my little eye…
A whole bunch of fantastic friends joining me on dis funtabulous Friendship Friday!!!!

It is a bright, clear, sunny fall day dat feels more like July dan October!! When da mommy was growing up in Boston, dis was known as Indian Summer. And it’s a pawfect day to tend to some outside chores like sweeping da balcony.

As you can plainly see, I was an enormous help! I used all my body weight to keep dat sun puddle from getting away! I’m not sure why I didn’t get a treat for all my assistance…

Hewwooooo Rocketeers and warm welcomes on dis (songless) Whimsical Wednesday!!

Remember I told you yesterday about all da new treats da mommy ordered?? Soooo many fun flabors from berry pie to cheese to mint to peanutbutter granola!!!!

Now, I still get my salmon treats after morning walkies and crunchy eggs and cheese to fill my little red ball in da morning while da mommy feeds da Beansie bunny. But we needed to add someting new to da mix… someting fabulous for after a daytime walk well before my nighttime greenie.

Don’t worry- I’m a pawfect 10 pound boy and habs been my whole adult life. We don’t oberdue da treats. As a matter ob fact, I habs witnessed da mommy breaking dem in half!!!! Da nerbe!!!

Anyway, here’s a short bideo ob me making da selection ob which treat to try first. Can you guess what I made a bee-line for?? I left no doubt which had to be opened immediately.

For dis auspicious occasion, I present you wif da teeny tiniest tip o’tongue. Yup, dat’s all you get! It was an impressibe display ob self control ‘cause da mommy bought a bounty ob new treats.

Ya know, sometimes da tastybuds get bored wif da same old flabors. So da mommy decided to change tings up and got all new treats for me to try!! (But she read alllll da ingredients first ‘cause I can’t digest meat, pork or chicken proteins!) Well, when da box arribed I sure was suprized by all new smells!!! We’ll post da bideo tomorrow ob my bery careful selection process.

As if he doesn’t steal all da attention ebry other day… “International Rabbit Day is celebrated on the last Saturday of September to promote the care and protection of domestic and wild rabbits.” If you’d like to celebrate today wif a real, libe bunny I habs one dat I’ll be happy to let you borrow!!
