In the good weather, I try to have a Puppy party where my friends can come over just a few days before they’re leaving and we have a potluck and then we have them sit on one side of the fence and I go hand them a puppy it was still pretty warm so we didn’t hang out there on the sun too long butthose that wish to hold a puppy got the chance and it’s always good for more socialization. A big thank you to Shannon and her adult children, Johnny and Sofia for helping with the Volhard personality test. It went well except for my printer malfunction but otherwise it was very helpful and it’s totally amazing as I’ve said all along. This is a very mellow group they actually all scored in the very moderate range. She also had to pinch gently between their pad of their feet. Nobody flinched. Everybody went to 30 seconds, dangled a little rope towel to chase they were supposed to chase after I wandered a piece of paper now that was really silly because these dogs want a ball! But thank you again and we we’re going to the vet in about a half hour for that check up.

I got the pen mowed and we got the puppies back outside. They just love that but then they realized it was too hot and they went back underneath the shelter. They’ll come back out tonight when it cools down a little.

So this was the initial reaction when they first walked into the pen so the puppies are all over them and they’re all over the puppies but it all settled down in about 10 minutes
