Tobias wants to thank everyone that donated towards his eyes and getting a dental done. He had to have 7 teeth pulled and he is already doing amazing and feeling much better without those painful eyes❤️ we are happy to let everyone know that if all goes well he does have a forever home to go to 😊🏡

⭐️ DOG OF THE WEEK⭐️ Presley❤️ Meet Presley! This handsome man is around 1.5 years old and his breed is your best guess! We have no idea why this boy is still with us! He is such a happy dog with a goofy personality. He LOVES playing ball and loves sitting pretty. He is pretty high energy and needs a home that will take him on lots of walks or runs. He has a few volunteers that come and spend time with him and every weekend he gets a cheeseburger from his friends Jen and Kendall😁 he seems a little picky about other dogs, so a meet and greet is a must if you have any other dogs in your home and would do best in a home with no cats. Happy Monday! To start off our first week of Saint Pitties month we would like to introduce you to our boy Duke❤️🍀 Duke is 8 years old and originally came to us when he was just an 8 week old puppy along with his siblings. He was adopted out and had a great life with a very nice family, but unfortunately had to be returned recently. After owners had a new baby and he began walking it made Duke very nervous and uncomfortable. The decision for the owners to return him was not easy, but they knew it was best. He would do good in any home as long as there is no babies/toddlers. He is good with other dogs and cats as well. Don’t let his age fool you. He still loves to run around and play. He likes going for walks, but also loves just laying around and being a couch potato. He is neutered, current on vaccines, tested negative for heartworm, and is microchipped. In the past a DNA test was done on one of Dukes siblings and the results were American Pitbull Terrier/Doberman/Husky/Shepherd. Who had the opportunity to meet our Spotlight Pet, Fiona, at National Night Out on Tuesday?! Thank you to the Fort Dodge Police Department -Official- for allowing us to join their annual event! Fiona was pretty nervous with all the commotion at first, but she felt more and more comfortable with each kind human she interacted with. She startled easily when kids came up to her too quickly, but eventually she got used to meeting kids of all ages! We think it helped that most of the kids' fingers tasted like cotton candy and other tasty treats. 😋🍭 She gave babies little kisses on their toes, and the bigger kids got extra kisses on their sugary hands and faces. Sam and Allix made sure to eat alllllll the chocolate off their dilly bars so Fiona could enjoy the final licks of ice cream from the Ardys Mae Coffee and Dessert truck! We don’t know what her life was like before we met her, but we can tell you that Fiona is one of the absolute sweetest dogs we have right now! She’s a beautiful lab mix, estimated to be about 3-1/2 years old and she came to us as an unclaimed stray in early February this year. She is timid when meeting new people, but after a gentle greeting, she will warm up very quickly! Fiona’s future family will experience years of loving and loyal companionship from this girl. She loves to play fetch, particularly with stuffed toys — and she actually drops it for you to throw again! When she’s not playing, she’ll want to be snuggled up on a soft bed or – even better – in the lap of one of her beloved humans. Our sweet Fiona has missed out on being part of a family for close to six months now. We are SO excited to announce that we are partnering with Duck King Fun Party Rentals to bring to you… ☀️ DOG DAZE of Summer ☀️ SATURDAY, JUNE 24TH from 1pm - 4pm in our dog park PUBLIC EVENT – Dogs must be dog friendly and up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations. No females in heat, please! 🫧 Keep an eye out for more details coming this week! 🫧 We did a trial run with the foam canon today and we’re confident in saying it was a success! Cowboy (and many others, go check out our live videos from earlier today!) got to play in the foam, run through sprinklers, and enjoy a nice cold snow cone… flavored with dog beer! 🍺😂
