EXCITING NEWS

We have an update here at Doodles In Bloom. We fell off the radar for the last few months. Why? Because there hasn’t been much to say. There was a breeding that took place last spring with our girl, Greta. That breeding did not take and there were no puppies. It is not the first disappointment we have come across in this journey and it certainly won’t be the last.
Fast forward to today and we have had 2 breedings take place the last few weeks! We will get confirmation of pregnancy next week.

Here is a pic of each of the girls that were bred. We are excited for puppies to come around Christmastime. ❤️

You guys, it finally came! Way earlier than expected too. While I was gone this week, Jasmine’s Therapy Dog International paperwork came back in the mail. She’s officially a therapy dog and can start doing visits this summer. Stay tuned. 😁

Jasmine took a trip to the vet today! I’ve never met a dog who loves going to the vet so much. She never stopped smiling the entire time she was there. She has such a gentle temperament and is so easy to handle.

Hey ya’ll!! I’m back!!
After taking a break these last few months, I am happy to report some exciting news. Our girl, Greta, had a breeding take place with Blueberry Cottage Biscuit! These puppies will be about 25-30lbs fully grown with lovable family temperaments and soft, thick coats.
We will be updating everyone when we have a confirmation of pregnancy. Thank you to Blueberry Cottage for letting us use Biscuit. ❤️

Are you looking for a new friend in 2024 that loves walks, belly rubs and being with her humans?

Introducing Greta! We are looking for a guardian home for Ms. Greta. She is a 14 month old Australian Labradoodle. Greta is sweet, smart, eager to please, extremely athletic and loves people. She is crate trained, potty trained and knows basic obedience commands.

What is a guardian home? A guardian home agrees to raise, train and love a dog as part of their family while the breeder retains breeding rights and ownership for a pre-determined amount of time. Once the dog is done with her breeding career, the ownership gets transferred to the guardian dog’s family.

Why be a guardian for a breeding dog and not just buy a puppy outright?
Guardian dogs are the pick of the litter
A guardian dog is only a fraction of the cost of a puppy
Free board at my house while you are on vacation

What is required to be considered for the guardian program?
Be within 2 hours or so of Bloomer, WI
Have a physically fenced yard
Someone home part of the time (Stay-at-home parent, retired person, work from home, etc)
Be willing to bring the dog to my house for breeding and whelping as needed

We had a little trip to Cabela’s this week. Jasmine handled it like a champ and listened really well! She loved the new smells and all the people doing their Christmas shopping, but what she loved most was all the belly rubs. Good girl, Jasmine.
