Ted, Timmy, Tallie, Teentz, and Trey are adorable little pit mixes that came to us all the way from Mississippi at the end of June. These adorable pups are approximately 2.5 months old. They love other pups, snuggles, snacks, and are eager to learn! They are already altered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. We don’t know much about dad, but mom is a pocket pittie who weighs around 40 pounds.
They are seriously adorable with the sweetest little personalities! Don’t miss your opportunity to have your own best friend to share watermelon with this summer!

Beep beep! Mini Cooper threw his vehicle preference out of the door this week when he hopped on the rescue bus all the way from Waco, TX!
This sweet Chihuahua mix is learning all about what life has to offer…his favorite part so far? ZOOMIES! 🏎️💨 But not before treats of course! 🥩This boy loves to be told he’s a very good boy and has certainly learned the value of a reward. We aren’t sure of his past, but we know he appreciates the feeling of the wind blowing through his ears. Call him a simple guy, or perhaps a man of wealth and taste? 😁🤷🏻♀️
Mini Cooper is 2 years old, walks nicely on a leash, and once he has the chance to feel comfortable with his humans he is the goofiest boy. He’s friendly with other dogs and kitties as well.

It’s $5 Friday again, and again we are asking for the help of our supporters to get us through this rough patch so we can keep helping those who need us most. 🐶 💔
2024 has been a pretty rough start with so many surprise medical cases, and way more than we could’ve even bargained for in such a short amount of time. At the beginning of February, we made one large $1000+ payment after our last plea for Marley, Champ, and Arnold and paid our vet balance down to ZERO. Since then, we’ve had $1000 expense weeks at our vet consecutively throughout last month. Xrays, antibiotics, ultrasounds, urinalysis, blood work, routine tests and vaccines…you name it…our vet bill has seen it this year. We’ve typically had no issues keeping up with our vet bill, as it’s remained at a zero balance all of 2023 (👏😭) but with a slower month of adoptions in February and not as many donations coming in—we are struggling to keep up with the $1000 weekly vet bills we’ve been hit with. This doesn’t count the TWO emergency vet visits we had in the last month.
We are praying our current medical extravaganza is coming to an end soon as we finish up what we HOPE is the last of the medical needs for our dogs. The dogs need medical attention, and they’re going to get it whether or not we signed up for it or not. Thats just part of rescue. But we just can’t do it on our own and we aren’t too proud to admit when we need a little help.
If 200 of our (almost 10k) followers donated just $5, that would knock out 1/3 of our vet balance. We aren’t asking for the entire bill paid off. We are just asking for a little relief so we can finally breathe while we get through the last of our dog’s medical needs.
It takes a village and we can’t continue to save lives without the most integral piece of our operation, and that is YOU—our supporters. Thank you for always helping us through. Our rescue could use all the help we could get right now. $5 goes a long way for

As you can see from our screenshot, this week has been quite costly with 3 vet visits in ONE day for Champ, Arnold, and our senior girl Marley. Champ and Arnold are our new arrivals from TX who both were coughing pretty badly after their travel and needed X-rays and antibiotics. Their visits cost about $290 EACH. Marley hasn’t been feeling her best. She needed some blood work, and a urinalysis, costing over $500 for her visit on Wednesday.
That one visit cost us just over $1000 ‼️ We could use all the help we can get to pay this balance down as have a VERY busy upcoming vet schedule and an expecting mama in rescue who is due to give birth any day. Staying on top of these unexpected finances is crucial. $5 goes a long way, PLEASE donate if you’re able to, and share this post with your friends to help our dog friends🙏🏻🐾
