Thanks to our fosters, we were able to save 19 dogs last Saturday otherwise sitting in overcrowded shelters out of Dallas, TX.

This fabulous senior chihuahua is absolutely living her best life in her new cozy sweater her foster mama spoiled her with! At 10 years young and weighing in at a tiny 6-8 pounds, this sweet girl is blossoming in her foster home. After overcoming so many challenges, she's now soaking up the sunshine and enjoying all the snuggles and snacks she could dream of. 🐶❤️

It’s $5 Friday and we REALLY need your help with our vet balance! 😩🙏🏻
It’s that time again, and we’re reaching out to our incredible supporters for a bit of help as we prepare for 10 upcoming spay and neuter appointments! However, before we can schedule these essential services, we need to pay down our current vet balance.
This year has thrown us some unexpected challenges, with a series of surprise medical cases leading to vet bills that have piled up quickly. From essential xrays and ultrasounds to routine check-ups, our dogs have required more care than we had anticipated. While we usually manage to keep our vet bills low, we’ve recently faced several weeks with expenses exceeding $1000.
But don’t worry—when our dogs need medical attention, we’re dedicated to ensuring they get it, regardless of the circumstances. We know it's just part of our rescue mission, but we can’t do it alone, and that’s why we’re asking for your support.

We desperately need foster homes for our adorable small dogs and puppies (25 lbs and under)! These little ones are searching for safe havens where they can thrive while waiting for their forever families. Your support can make all the difference, and can mean saving the life of a dog like Cher—who ended up on the urgent list an overcrowded shelter last week. We agreed to save her life, but we need help providing her with a foster home for her New England arrival on 9/22.

FOSTER NEEDED 9/21!
Meet Mama, our delightful 3-year-old pittie gal, weighing in at just 44 lbs! This sweet girl is arriving from Dallas, Texas, on September 21st, and she needs YOU to help her feel at home! 🏡❤️
Mama is just absolutely adorable (her cute lip deformity just adds to her charm!). This beautiful girl was found as a stray and was taken to the shelter for stray hold. She was taken home by a shelter volunteer who reported that Mama was a superstar with the dogs in her shelter volunteer’s home! ✅ 🐕
Mama needs a loving foster family to welcome her when she arrives! If you’re ready to open your home and heart to this snuggly sweetheart, please step up! She deserves all the love while she waits for her forever home.

Meet our newest surrender Chase!
Being International Day of Charity today, we could use some help with donations to vet this big boy!
Chase came to us early this week. After having been on the run in town for almost two weeks, he finally came home but the owner quickly reached out to us to surrender him ASAP.
He is a VERY good dog! He weighs somewhere close to 85 pounds (we will get an accurate weight at his first check up), is housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, knows basic commands such as sit, down, and give paw—and LOVES car rides. Chase was living in a home with small children as well as another dog, and cats. In foster assessment, it’s been determined he gets along very well with other dogs. He is submissive, non-confrontational, and is not food aggressive with either humans or other dogs. He’s a total gem and we are excited to help Chase on his journey to a new foster home. He’s super smart and just wants to please.
Chase is pending a vet visit for his initial exam, 4dx test, rabies vaccination, and boosters for his DHLPP and bordetella which he’s already received. He also needs to be microchipped and neutered! We expect Chase’s medical expenses to cost us just around $600-700 when all is said and done. We are waiting for an official estimate from our vet, but in the meantime, we need to fundraise to get this boy everything he needs to go to his next forever home.

Ted, Timmy, Tallie, Teentz, and Trey are adorable little pit mixes that came to us all the way from Mississippi at the end of June. These adorable pups are approximately 2.5 months old. They love other pups, snuggles, snacks, and are eager to learn! They are already altered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. We don’t know much about dad, but mom is a pocket pittie who weighs around 40 pounds.
They are seriously adorable with the sweetest little personalities! Don’t miss your opportunity to have your own best friend to share watermelon with this summer!
