Popeye "Papito" Popeye was rescued by Saving K9 Lives in October, 2015. He's approximately 15-16 years young, and he is ready to embark on a new adventure of love.

Popeye is currently the official mascot of Duvin, wine bar, in Oakland, CA. Before landing this prestigious gig, Popeye was a former studmuffin at a puppy mill. While he may have gotten around, it appears as though he wasn't loved and taken care of. This now has changed because this boy will be spoiled rotten. We hope more people see the beauty in these senior dogs and make their last moments, happy.
