I know I’m all about snakes but I was feeding Shiloh tonight and she’s just absolutely adorable when she’s exploring. So this is a Shiloh appreciation post ❤️

Feeding day rolls around again 🤞 will my youngest eat again fingers crossed 🐍

Edit: they’re both in shed so nobody ate off the tongs, I’ve left some food in just in case because my youngest used to eat while in shed so we shall see later today 🤦‍♀️

A 4 month hunger strike came to an end for my youngest boy 🥳

He took a chicken heart with the strangest food response I’ve ever seen, I wish I got it on video. He kind of stroked his chin along the food until he touched the tongs and then almost as if in slow motion, opened his mouth and CHOMP.

He had 3 small chunks. Fingers crossed 🤞 he eats again next week 😁😁

I never knew snakes could have chubby cheeks. But here’s Toadette with the most adorable chubby cheeks you ever saw.

P.S. She was angry because I put her back, I’d had her out for about an hour prior to these photos being taken and she was more than happy curled up in my sleeve.

Toadette loves feeding day. She was so excited she missed her first strike, then went back in immediately and knocked it into her water bowl. 10/10 but was a bit soggy 🐍

P.S does anyone else’s females produce the smelliest poops?

It will soon be time to start pairing these beautiful crwatures. Fingers crossed 🤞 I get to see the very first lock. Despite month of research, I would appreciate any advice anyone can offer. Wish me luck 🐍

This girl loves her humid hide (it will be upgrade to a proper cave but this works well for now). Doin’ the big chomp, good mouse 10/10.

Weighing day today for my little danger noodles, Bowser was more than happy to curl up and sit on the scales. Toadette was unamused (hence no photo). Both are good and healthy and eating well. 🐍

It was feeding day yesterday and of course, they both knew it. Popping their heads out slightly to see what’s on the menu 🐍🐁

And I finally have Hognose number 2!

My first snake: Bowser is a normal conda het for axanthic, albino and toffee belly

Snake number 2: Toadette is Arctic het for axanthic, lavender and albino.

Aren’t they just adorable.

This is my first and only pair, I will be gathering equipment, over the next couple of months getting everything ready to breed these gorgeous creatures.

Not relevant to breeding snakes but we now also have a leopard gecko called Shiloh added to the family ❤️
