This darling White/Brown (B) gilt will be a perfect addition to your homestead whether you want a companion animal or a bacon-maker. Wishie is curious, alert, has a nice bright & open face, stands high on her pasterns, and is easy to pet and handle. She stays put behind a strand of electrified polywire and is easy on pasture. I'd planned to keep her for our farm, but hey - incase you haven't heard - we're having a baby this spring and I'm trying to take a little pressure off us while blessing YOU with a spectacular gilt!

She can come open for $500 or exposed to Théoden through Thanksgiving for $650. A deposit of half will hold her until you take her home.

I'm an AKKPS Exclusive breeder located in midwest Ohio. That means I only breed registered (aka 100% DNA verified) Kune Kune pigs. My pigs are who they say they are - no chance of crosses or mixes or weird grow-out or offspring outcomes. Kunes are heritage pigs, so they grow at a slow-steady rate (approx 15-18mos from birth to harvest for us) and have a personality that complements the small & peaceful farm. Fun, gentle, easy on the land, easy on the infrastructure.

We're a small homestead that only breeds 1-3 sows per season, doing our part to keep supply & demand economics working for small families like us. I try to price my pigs for the value I see in them - what they cost me to create and maintain, and what they can offer you as a pet or favorite holiday dinner.

I currently have 4 piglets looking for new farms. I also have two gilts (breeding age) that I planned to keep but our farm dynamic has to shift.... so they can be yours! Lastly, I have a 5 month belted boar that can be your next bacon-maker or pasture ornament. He's just stunning.

Hollyhocks, anyone? It really did take the full three years for them to put on a display of this magnitude, but it surely was worth the wait! Credit to the gardener (JOE!), the perfect weather conditions, and the good source (Brecks - I think. I am often wrong about that kind of thing, though).

I'm so happy to share that our Highland x Dexter bull ("G.W. McClintock") is FOR SALE!!!

PERFECT for a small family farm like ours that just wants to keep their cows in milk with a low-impact bull.
He's 17 months old, has a lovely pair of horns, is mild-mannered (aka stand-off-ish), has that long, thick Highland hair in the cold months. Healthy and happy on rotated grass pasture, no meds/vaxxs, no grain, trained to 2 strands of electrified polywire and/or wood fencing.

Did I mention he's small? I don't know what counts as 'mini' but he's shorter than our midsize jersey cow (pictured) by a good several inches. He was a perfect fit for our farm, since I never really wanted a bull in the first place aaaaand because our midsize jersey cow needed a smaller baby-daddy to ensure a safe calving.

We bought him because AI for our midsize jersey cow failed us too many times. 🥛Turns out she had high standards and needed a real, live bull to get her pregnant! I know he'll be a solution for another farm just like he was for ours!
