1. It is against the rules for a member to write a post or make a comment that denigrates or criticises this page, its members, its admins, or any other horse page on Facebook. Any such post or comment will be deleted by admin. If members have any concerns about this page or other members please discuss this
in a pm with one of the admins. If it is written in a public post it will be deleted.
2. Denigrating, disrespectful comments towards others, and personal arguments will not be tolerated in this page. Debate the topic respectfully, don't make it personal. It's fine to debate topics vigorously and to have different points of view - even experts don't agree on everything - but it is NOT OK or acceptable under any circumstances to make personal denigrating comments to other members. Comments of this type will be removed by admin and the member will be removed if they continue to disrespect other members and disregard the ethos of this group.
3. It is against the rules to name and shame anyone (whether they are in this page or not) either in a post or comment in this page. This includes putting up a photo of an individual or individuals who can be recognised from the photo, even if their names aren't mentioned.
4. a) It is against the rules to put up a photo or video of a horse belonging to another person in a post or comment without the permission of the owner of the horse. If the photo or video has been made public on facebook or the internet though, and has come up in members' newsfeeds, then it is allowed.
4. b) It is also against the rules to copy someones post in this page and post it elsewhere, unless you have permission to do so by the original poster. Taking screen shots of a post from here and posting it elsewhere, without the permission of the Original Poster, is completely unpermitted. Any member found doing this will be removed from page immediately without warning. If any of the page rules are broken the member will receive a strike against their name. If the person receives three strikes they are automatically removed from the page. There will be no warning. It is the members' personal responsibility to keep the rules, not just the admins' responsibility to enforce them. If the person reaches 3 strikes then they will automatically be removed from the page. If a member sends you a pm to continue to make denigrating or rude comments after a comment of theirs has been removed by an admin, please screenshot the message and pm it to one of the admin and it will count as 1 strike against the person. If members see comments on a post, or a post that breaks the rules, please report it to/tag the admins. This is the quickest way for admins to respond to the situation. The rules are there to make the page a safer and more enjoyable place to be. Please tag an admin, or screen shot and message an admin, if someone makes a personal, denigrating remark to you or another member.
