This is Nancy! And she really needs a forever home.
Nancy was abandoned to die locked away in a cupboard. Her sister Sydney was also in the same flat (Sydney is also looking for a home). Nancy was starving and dying.
We got her out, and to the vets, and then she came to live with me until we could find her forever home.
Nancy is a Staffy cross, and is medium sized. She loooovvveesss to snooze! Shes so calm, and shes a great listener.
She walks well on lead, she's house trained and crate trained and can be left alone for periods of time with a nice chew toy.
She and Nancy tend to fight over the boys, so will have to be homed separately, but Nancy is great with other dogs, male or female and is not at all reactive while on walks.
Nancy has been through so much, and just wants to sit on your sofa and love you!

Sydney is a Staffy cross, and is only small. She's full of happiness and energy, but she loooovvveesss to snooze! Shes great at keeping calm when she's excited, and shes a great listener.

PART 2
This one is a hard one to write.
The day started out great with some one on one time with the girls, we worked on running to heel and making that sit last longer and wait for a release command.
Then we went up to the farm, to see if we could bring Rocket into our little adventure. Rocket is my best friend and I miss him terribly.
We introduced Sydney & Nancy to Rocket individually and gave them some time to play and get used to each other. Both girls did absolutely amazingly. And the usually boystrous Rocket dog was very gentle!
But then... disaster struck! Once both girls were out together, with a male dog in the mix, they turned on each other. We knew they had been used for fighting with their previous owners, and now we have found the trigger. We were able to split up the fight quickly and neither girl has more than the odd scratch.
But now we have no choice but to keep them separated for their own safety. And consider rehoming them separately. Apart, they are the sweetest girls ever. And both are absolutely fine with other dogs. Nancy even went on a walk with Rocket and Pip (Kim's female Springer Spaniel) and she was perfect!
But together. There is too much trauma to undo in a short time.
We will now be advertising Sydney & Nancy for rehoming separately. This is sad, but the risk of working through their past is not worth it, if it leads to fights and injuries. We have to do what's best for these girls, and that may be going their separate ways.

I think it's important to show that these are normal dogs, and deserve to be loved like any other, regardless of what they've been through before we found them 🥺
