Six tips to keep our pets safe during this busy season:


Avoid Hazardous Foods
On the "naughty list": chocolate, alcohol, grapes, raisins, and other holiday treats. Limit table scraps. Stick to pet-friendly treats.

Secure Decorations
Use pet-safe ornaments. Secure trees to prevent tipping. Tinsel can be harmful if swallowed. Hide electrical cords. Never leave lit candles unattended.

Mindful with Plants
Keep toxic holly, mistletoe and poinsettias away from pets.

Provide a Safe Space
Create a quiet area for pets to retreat and relax. Keep pets indoors during New Year's Eve fireworks or other loud events.

Secure Fencing and Gates
Check doors, fences, and gates to be sure they are secure.

ID is Key
Make sure your pet is wearing an ID tag and their microchip registration is up to date.

- WILMYR - Lost on 2024-12-06 - LOCATION: Wilmyr was lost in the wooded area just around Clover Community Park. He was on those trails behind the houses on Clinton. He took off after some deer.

Location: Near Exit 2 in Fair Play, SC. She ran into a patch of woods (approximately 100 acres) with her sister, chasing a squirrel. Her sister returned 45 minutes later, but Ellie never did. Lake Hartwell is behind us in those patches of woods.

Pet Description: Spayed, Microchipped. Has a small white speckled patch on the chest and tiny white speckles on the back paws only. Has dimples above eyes. White whiskers.
