🍂 Hello to all of our supporters and followers. What a lovely few days it has been on the farm. So here is some information:

🦓 We open at 10.30am and we close at 4pm. Please make sure you arrive a couple of hours before the park closes.

🌱 Now that it's getting warmer remember that we sell a selection of cold drinks, ice cream, sandwiches and snacks in our gift shop. We have a few picnic tables outside and inside our jungle barn for you to sit and have your lunch on.

🍁 Our preferred method of payment is cash. Unfortunately last year we lost thousands due to card merchant charges. This really affected us going into this year.

🌺 We do have a card machine, but please use cash where possible. Especially for smaller purchases- card payments under £5 not accepted.

🌻 Feed the Meerkats- please make sure you arrive by 11.45am. You will need cash to purchase a pot of Meerkat food. (£1 a pot).

🐒 We are a non for profit animal sanctuary. This means we are soley funded by public admissions, donations, animal sponsers and purchases made in our gift shop. All of our money goes straight back into the farm for vet bills, specialist animal food, electricity, wages and the upkeep of the farm.

⚘️ We are very grateful for all your support 🙏

🦌Look out in our posts over the next few weeks as we will be welcoming some new arrivals 🤩

🦨 If you are looking for ways to help support us, we have our Amazon wish list, sponsorship of any of our animals (includes photograph, certificate and free visit £50 per a year), an animal food parcel or enrichment package for our animals....please contact us for further information. fans

🍁 Can you share this page out and invite your friends to support our page please, to help support our sanctuary 🥰

🌿 We are open from Friday 29th March and we are looking forward to seeing you all.

🍁 Our new website is still being built so if you have any questions please message our page and one of our keepers will get back to you as soon as they can.

🧡 Can we ask that you please use cash, especially when paying for small items and for the Meerkat feeds. Due to the increasing card merchant charges we lost alot of money last year, which could of been used to go back into the park to help with animal food, vet bills and the upkeep of our enclosures.

🌱 As we are a non for profit animal sanctuary we get no help from outside funding. We solely rely on the public to keep the farm going and every penny is put back into the animals & upkeep of the park.

🌻 To continue supporting our animals at Porfell Wildlife Park whilst we are shut you can purchase a gift for one of our animals via our amazon wishlist.

☘ Or you can sponsor one of our animals for a year for £50. Your sponsor will provide food, enrichment & veterinary care for your chosen animal and will help to support the park. You will also receive a free visit into the park, a photo and a certificate.

🥕 Or you can donate a food parcel to one of our animals (please contact us for further information regarding thier dietary requirements) fans

We are posting tonight with some news which we are heart broken about. Our good friends Craig and Sharon who have built the Jungle zoo in Cleethorpes and poured their heart and souls into it for over a decade have announced that due to the rising cost of fuel and, well everything, they are having to close their doors for the last time on October the 2nd.
They have worked with animals their whole lives and have worked so hard and we are devastated for them and all the keepers who work there. All the animals are being rehomed amongst the British zoo community and we are also giving new homes to some of their animals so that atleast some of the local followers can pop and see their favourites here.
Thank you to Craig and Sharon for all the help you have given us over the last 5 or 6 years as we have been building up Messingham zoo, you have been rocks for us. We wish you the very best in your future endeavours and will do all we can to help.
We know that many of our followers are also big fans of the Jungle zoo and we would ask that you go for one last visit whilst you can.
