A Cat Named Felix Felix is a rescued Maine C**n, from Indianapolis Indiana. Rescued 4/15/2017. After further review, we believe Felix is a Norwegian Forest Cat. Well, it worked!!

I was a stray that got sent to a shelter in Indianapolis Indiana. Some nice people talked about me on the page I Heart Maine C**ns. My new human found me there and promised to come visit me at the shelter and see if he wanted to adopt me. When he came to the shelter, he saw me and I purred and licked his hand, nuzzled his arm. I wanted to make sure that he kept me for his own. I now have

a nice home, in Michigan, with three other cats (2 sisters and a brother). Sometimes we don't get along, but mostly because I'm new to the family. Thank you to the staff at the Indianapolis Animal Care Services for finding me, taking care of me and helping me find my new human. My human promises to update this site with how I'm doing as I work toward getting better. So come back a visit me and watch my progress.

Good morning everyone! Daddy here!

Happy Caturday!

What a difference a week makes.

Last Saturday, Nicholas was still hiding under the rocker/recliner. He was eating but not out in the house with the others.

Today, he’s not only out from under the rocker but eating in the kitchen with the family. He wants to keep his distance yet but he’s getting there.

He even walks through the house with his tail held high.

So far, only Gabriel has voice his unhappiness with the addition to the house.

Good morning everyone! Daddy here!

This happened about 20 minutes ago. Nicholas came to me and wanted his scratches. He’s been getting scratches ever since. He jumped on my lap and is purring louder than any of the kitties in the house.

I hope he realizes daddy has to get up soon to get ready for work.

Even Tango is letting him on my lap but he’s laying right next to me and Nicholas doesn’t even care.

Good morning everyone! Daddy here!

Nicholas started coming out from under the rocker late yesterday. Here he is playing with a catnip toy with Tango on the couch.

This morning he was out by his dish waiting for wet food. He did run when I picked it up and then again when I returned but it didn’t take long for him to eat.

He was hiding again when I left but Gabriel had his morning zips and that makes most of the kitties get out of the way.

I left dry food by his hiding spot so he can get to the food easily and water is really close too.

Good morning everyone! Daddy here!

We have a Nicholas sitting! Yes, at 1:45AM he was out walking the perimeter of the living room.

The second photo is Chloe checking him out while he checks out the litter box.

I’m glad he was out. He stayed out for a short time but it’s a start. He probably thinking what a crazy house this is.

He’s supposed to see the vet on the 20th. Hopefully, he’ll be out more by then and I can get him there for a quick checkup and booster shots he needs.

Happy Caturday!

Nicholas comes out in the early morning and I managed to get this shot of him. He’s currently under the rocker hiding.

He is eating and drinking and from what I can guess using Gizmos litter box. Yes daddy knows these things.

He’s moving around the perimeter of the living room but only at night. Which is fine. He’s got a lot to get used to with all the others in the house.

He so looks like Silas its almost scary.

As he gets used o the family there will be more pictures.
