We are running a raffle with all proceeds going straight to the Air Ambulance so if you would like to bring a raffle prize it would be gratefully appreciated

This event is being run on a NOT FOR PROFIT basis trying to put the fun back into Junior Showjumping - more rossettes for less red tape. Anyone wanting to add to the sponsor fund just get in touch.

Just look at the prizes up for grabs; bucketfuls of goodies in the Major and Minor Leagues and the Tiny Tots have a Le Mieux Pony (winner) and Puppy (runner up) for their league, if you are eligible for the Tiny Tots - 8 or under on January the 1st 2024 please let me know

Results have been converted to points from the First Leg of the Discount-Equestrian Summer Showjumping League

As we have said the points system is based on the number of competitors in the CLASS. This gives more points where you have beaten more people

For example if you win a class with 5 competitors the points are allocated 5-4-3-2-1; however if you win a class with 10 competitors points are allocated 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1. All competitors receive points unless you are eliminated or retire without completing the course.

You do not need to jump all 6 weeks to be eligible for prizes but you will get more points if you do

Very quiet day on Saturday for BS Mixed Club & Juniors at Highfield House but we don’t like to disappoint so will run.

Sunday is set to be a fun-filled day of showjumping with Sashes on all the classes.

Just have a look at the schedule; 30 cm Tiny Tots to Open Metre; Pairs, Accumulator and £50 to the outright winner of the High Jump

Plus there’s even a class where you don’t need a pony. Children show off how high they can jump with the outright winner taking a VERY SPECIAL prize of a Hobby Horse to join in the craze that’s sweeping the country

We have tweaked the weekends activities and there is only BS on Saturday

Sunday is now totally unaffiliated with Sashes on all Classes plus Mini Pairs, Hobby Horse High Jump - you don’t need a pony; Accumulator. Height classes 30 cm to 80 cm also have class entry vouchers to the winners
Class 90 cm and metre are not split junior/senior but do have £25 cash as first prize (plus sash) and the Highfield High Jump has a £50 cash prize to the outright winner

Well the Do Nuts didn’t cause any problems today with some good rounds being jumped

But now the SCHOOLS ARE OUT - LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED

Full details tomorrow but we have tweaked the weeks programme and activities are as follows:

Discount-Equestrian Summer Showjumping League starts Thursday 25th July and runs for 6 weeks. Over £500 of prize goodies to win split over 5 separate leagues; more to win and more prize winners

Saturday remains as Junior BS; Mixed Club and Just for Schools - ENTRIES CLOSE IN LINE WITH BS RULES ON THURSDAY NIGHT

Sunday however is now a full day of UNAFFILIATED SHOWJUMPING with SASHES ON ALL CLASSES. 30 cm to Metre plus 2 fun classes and a winner takes all prize pot High Jump - Schedule will be released tomorrow.

This show is also the LAST CHANCE to qualify direct to the Pony 100 series Championships and Sunshine Tour Championships 2024

I have deliberately not put the entry links on as Equoevents hasnt been co-operating since the computer glitch last week so please be patient I hope to be able to sort the entry system out or at least provide an alternative. Don’t panic people - I have pen, paper and battery stop watch and a whistle - showjumping will continue with or without technology

Amazing day of showing at the Sashes Galore Showing at Highfield House fantastic horses and ponies presented

Next showing event will be the Highfield House Pre-HOYS show on Saturday 5th October and will have sashes and Rossettes in the beautiful HOYS colours. We won’t be making trophy purchases from Amazon this time - lesson learned!!! There will be QUALITY trophies on all Championships for both winner & reserve PLUS fabulous garlands for Supreme & Reserve Supreme Champions both Inhand and Ridden sections
