Our vollies will be there with our merchandise booth, stocked up with various rabbit themed items for humans. For our furkids, there will be willow toys & treats.

There will also be 2 adoptable rabbits at this event from 11-2.30pm.

𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗽𝘆 & 𝗣𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗸𝗶𝗻: 𝗔 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

When our beloved Minnie passed away nearly two years ago, it left a huge void in our family—one less bunny friend for Poopy to share his time with. Wanting to find him a new companion, we began searching for a suitable bunny buddy.

Our first attempt was with Fong Fong, a small, white lop who was sweet and curious. However, she turned out to be an independent little lady, making her not the right match for Poopy. Thankfully, Fong Fong found a happy home where she could thrive on her own, and our search for Poopy’s perfect partner continued.

Then came Pumpkin, an orange and white bun with a loppy ear. Poopy spent time with Pumpkin’s foster mom for a “staycation,” and there was a glimmer of interest between the two. Encouraged, we decided to bring Pumpkin home for a trial.

To our surprise, the moment she arrived, she and Poopy clicked instantly—like two peas in a pod. They became inseparable, going everywhere together. With Pumpkin’s slight vision impairment, Poopy naturally took on the role of her guide, leading her into Mummy’s room to sleep, bringing her out for meals, and helping her explore the house in search of perfect hiding spots.

Pumpkin is a spunky, adventurous girl, always zooming from room to room and squeezing into places she shouldn’t—but all in good fun. For the past few months, she and Poopy have been inseparable, and it’s been pure joy watching them cuddle up together.

🐰𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬

In early January, Singaporeans were heartbroken by the devastating fire that occurred in a HDB flat in Hougang. Reports surfaced about animals being successfully rescued from the unit and transferred to the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS).

In mid-January, we received an email from AVS about 8 rabbits in need of rehoming. After confirming their background, we learned these rabbits were among those rescued from the fire. All 8 were examined by an in-house vet and closely monitored.

We picked up all 8 rabbits yesterday and they were sent to Vet Central Swan Lake and Toa Payoh for further health assessments and care. The group consists of 3 males and 5 females.

A big thank you to Vet Central and everyone involved in this rescue.

We are still looking for 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 to expand our foster network to help the case. While you may not directly receive rabbits from this case, your support will make a meaningful impact. We welcome fosters with or without experience—please message us for more details.

Today is the first day of Year 2025.
It is time for a recap of everything that has happened to us in the Year 2024.

46 were taken into HRSS fostercare
53 rabbits found their loving homes
21 rabbits at their trial homestay
50 rabbits remained under our care

We participated in many events, fundraising for our society and meeting bunny parents and members of the public to share the work we do, and the stories of our rescued rabbits. We also held our first Live Christmas Gameshow on Facebook.

In the new year, we will continue to find ways to reach out to more people and to create more awareness about rabbit welfare and education.

To end off, we are grateful to everyone who have helped us this past year- our fosterparents, volunteers, donors, adopters, partnering merchants, rabbit savvy vets, government agencies, our fellow AWG friends, and all those we may have missed.
