🐾 Happy Thanksgiving 🐾
Today we want to take a moment to share what we are thankful for.
Since 2017 we have had 1,634 pals find their forever homes. We currently have 27 pals in foster homes, and 5 puppies waiting to come north for the holidays.
Since 2017 we have brought over 1800 dogs and cats into our rescue, some we never got to get into their forever homes, but we loved them until their last breaths.
This week we asked our alumni to share pictures of their adopted pals and it brought back so many memories.
Rescue is so hard. The hardest job honestly. It’s early morning phone calls and late night trips to the emergency vet. It’s emails and texts everyday asking for us to help members of the community or other rescues and shelters. It’s crying over pals we never met but loved with our whole hearts.
What are we thankful for this year? That’s easy. Each of you. Whether it be our alumni families, foster families, volunteers, donors, and everyone else who supports us in so many ways.
We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without each of you. So today, we hope that everyone takes a moment to stop and enjoy time with family and friends and those you love and of course your four legged pals too!!
