Meet our Candy Crew — Skittles, Snickers, Tootsie, Dots, and Twix! 🍬🐾

These five little treats recently joined the Safe With Us family, and while they may be tiny, their upcoming veterinary care is a big step on their journey!

When kittens come into our rescue — especially as young as this crew — we ensure that they’re healthy and receive all of the proper vet care they need. That includes vaccinations, preventatives, medications, spay/neuter surgery, and microchips.

In order to continue providing this level of care, we need your help. 💜

With so many kittens currently in foster care, the cost of vetting adds up quickly — and every little bit makes a big difference!

Meet Pixie (Black), Rosy (Tabby), and Barnacle (Tabby)!

We know, we know, adopting three kittens may be a lot to take on, but this trio is a special bunch and we would LOVE for them to be adopted together. They are approximately 5-6 months old, altered, and up to date on their vetting. Here is a little bit about each of them:

"Pixie (female) is a very sweet and playful little lady. While she is the shyest of the trio, she comes out of her shell more and more each day. She does seek affection and attention but is shy about it. She follows her siblings to get attention from us (her fosters). She doesn't love being picked up but loves pets and play. Her favorite toys are the the wand and her tunnel. She also loves a scratcher!"

"Rosy is also super sweet kitten. She likes affection and cuddles from us (her fosters). She will sleep on top of you at night but not in your arms. She loves toys to carry around- so those are a must! She is very playful with her humans and siblings and is happy playing with both!"

"Barnacle is the boy kitten of the trio. He is also very sweet! He likes affection and cuddles from us and is also very playful both with his humans and his siblings. He will sleep in your arms at night if you let him. He is definitely the bravest of the three and warmed up to us the quickest. Would love him to go with his sisters or home with other cats. I think he’ll be lonely otherwise."

Meet Pepperflake and Rino!!

Pepperflake is the beautiful tabby and Rino is the handsome black kitty.

This bonded pair are your typical kittens- they love to explore, climb, and play! They took a couple days to settle in when they arrived to foster but now that they are comfy, they are showing their true kitten personalities!

Pepperflake is more curious, and loves to check out all the happenings in the house. She is a confident lady, who is a social little butterfly.

Rino is more reserved, and is perfectly content being on his own, or with his sister. He does enjoy spending time on the couch watching the action.

They currently are fostered with cat-savvy canine friends and they love to watch them, They have each even gotten kisses from them! So it is safe to say that they would be okay in a home with cat-savvy dogs.

Amazon Prime Day couldn't come at a better time for us! We recently grew by 5 kittens that were a local surrender!

We could use some kitten supplies for these new pals- kitten food is especially needed but they wouldn't say no to any toys either!

We also have a few older adult dog pals who could use a new orthopedic bed, and some treats and toys as well!

PUPDATE: We are so happy to share that Luna is safe!! She was trapped this morning and has already been seen by the vet. After nine long days, her family can take a deep breath. We wish her a very speedy recovery. We also want to thank all of the volunteers at Missing Dogs Massachusetts who helped get her home safely!!!

One of our own was hit by a car and ran off. Her family is completely devastated and doing everything they can to find her.

10/8/25 UPDATE: After being hit by a car and 9 nights missing, Luna is home!
Luna is lucky to have dedicated and loving owners who worked tirelessly to bring her home. This case had a lot of twists and turns that involved several members of the MDM team: Kelly, Jill, Andrea, Kerri and Alicia. Special thanks to Peter for calling in a real time sighting of Luna, and thanks to property owner Thiago who gave us permission to set up on his property so that we were able to trap Luna. Many Holliston residents helped: Anuja helped with flyers, Melissa helped with an additional trail camera, Sally & Gerry let us search their property and check their trail cameras, and Abby, Madeline, and other residents on Marilyn Ave. and Locust St. called in sightings. Holliston Police Officer Mustard's compassion and support helped Luna's owners tremendously. Shout out to Authentic Auto Body and Collision who gave permission for full access to their property if needed. Thank you to everyone who helped bring Luna to safety! Luna is off to vet, but it seems that she will make a full recovery.

🐾🐈‍⬛ Geno 🐾🐈‍⬛

Meet Geno!!!

This handsome 9 year old boy came in to rescue as an owner surrender as his person was diagnosed with a major medical condition and could no longer care for him. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and is microchipped, and litter box trained. He is looking for a foster or a forever family!

Geno is a really fantastic companion. He LOVES to snuggle- can't get close enough! He is one of the best biscuit makers out there and loves to share his purrs with you to show you how happy he is.

He loves a good scratching post, but won't scratch furniture or be destructive. He loves a good game of fetch with his favorite mouse toys and will bring them back to you.

Geno enjoys sitting in the window watching the birds and squirrels and then will happily nap in a ray of sun on the house.

He loves treats, and loves to be loved and share his own love with you.

Geno hasn't lived with other pals so it is unknown how he will do, but he is perfectly content being the only pal as well- it's pretty much all he knows. He is a serious snuggler so his new home must be okay with him being a true companion.

🐾🐈 Rosita 🐈🐾

Meet Rosita, also known as Rosie!!

This little lady ended up with Safe With Us after she was surrendered to us at just 6 weeks old or so. Her owner had become overwhelmed with too many kittens and luckily reached out for help.

Rosie is a typical kitten- she loves to explore and check out her surroundings. She is silly, and will play, but she is calmer than a typical kitten.

She does well with other cats but she is scared of dogs, so no canine companions for her. She has not been around children but she will likely do fine with a slow introduction and calmer children if they are young.

Rosie is a wonderful kitten who will make a great family member!
