Who’s the best girl? 🎀🥰
Peppa is! 🤩
Last weekend’s competition was amazing—we earned 2 serts to move up to the next class in both agility and jumping! 🥳
It’s been such a journey. We spent over a year mastering weaves, and now we’re here. For some dogs, it might come easily, but with Peppa, the road has been challenging. 🏋️♀️ She’s 5 years old now and has been doing agility for 4 years.
December has always been our month of agility. We started prep classes in 2020, competed in our first small event in 2021, and now this! 🎉
The last few months have been really good in training. I feel like our teamwork improves with every lesson (twice a week now!), and we’ve both gained so much confidence. And I love that we can work on more difficult skills now that Peppa doesn’t lock up when something doesn’t go as planned or it is a skill training day. 😁 I also found that the past 3 competitions I haven’t felt the same nerves during competitions as I used to. I haven’t felt as weak, shaky, or constantly thirsty as I used to in the past 😬 And that calm has definitely helped Peppa stay more focused and connected with me and not get so frustrated when I’m a bit slow on giving directions or make a mistake.
