The New Braunfels Area Quilt Guild is collecting donations for the Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area, Inc. let’s spread the word and show our furry friends some love this holiday season. You can drop off your donations at the HSNBA, have them delivered to them or bring them to the New Braunfels Area Quilt Guild meeting on December 21st-they will deliver them to the HSNBA. Tomorrow, Sunday, November 3rd is our big day! The event will go on rain or shine, so hopefully the rain will hold off for the morning. As a reminder, below is our race day schedule:

7:30 - 8:30 A.M. Packet pickup and race day registration ($40)
9:00 A.M. Race Starts
10:15 A.M. Awards Ceremony
10:30 A.M. Prize Announcements

We will have lots of fun, music, pets, and snacks ready for you, and we are looking forward to seeing you there!

As Halloween quickly approaches, it’s important to remember that several popular Halloween treats are considered toxic to pets. Some of these include:

🎃 Chocolate
🎃 Sugar-free candies or gum containing xylitol
🎃 Raisins (especially chocolate-covered)
🎃 Candy Corn
🎃 Caramel Apples
🎃 Macadamia Nuts

If you suspect your pet has ingested something toxic, contact MissionVet immediately at 210-737-7373. You can also call the ASPCA Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435
