Braden Johns update from Hannah:

Braden is starting off the week with a bang! He is meeting each therapist’s goals for him ans often surpasses them. By the end of the week we are hoping to see Braden standing on his feet without an appuratus and just me or the pt tech behind him.

He is continuing to sit up nice and tall and control his body. He is also using his reins and ropes for therapy. He seems to enjoy using his own tack for the exercises.

In speech today he swallowed 30 times while enjoying lemon sour swabs.. a week ago we got excited over 8 swallows consistently during the exercise. Our hope is to have chocolate ice cream to celebrate Braden’s birthday on Saturday!

In addition, to successful therapies Braden continues to be active and alert throughout the day. There are times throughout the day I look over at him and see Braden🩷

The quote I’ve been waiting to here came today from our neurologist:
” Braden you are on your game today. You are getting better. Keep getting better.”

Braden Johns update from Hannah:

Oh, my heart it feels so good to be back with Braden!!🩷

We have officially started our Christmas movie watching! ✨🎄☃️

Braden is starting the week off on a good note! He stood on his feet nice and tall in the new apparatus and was very alert while doing this in physical therapy.

During speech he worked hard and was trying so hard to talk. He did make noises. This evening when I arrived I could feel and see the words being formed when I was talking to him. He is so close it seems like! He is also busy moving his feet and hands. It’s amazing to see to Braden’s progress in the last couple weeks!

This weekend Braden did a great job of watching football and impressed his care team by how alert he was when watching the games. He also enjoyed family coming to visit him🩷

I couldn’t be any happier snuggled in and watching movies with him tonight. Looking forward to a great week and all the progress to come.
