Our Story
In early 2016 my husband and I adopted a tiny puppy that we named Azula. Little did I know, that firecracker of a dog would alter the direction of my life forever. From the first day we brought Azula home, she reignited my passion for animals; a passion that I had neglected for several years while I pursued a career in the fine arts. Suddenly, all I looked forward to in the day was coming home to play and cuddle with that dog. By the end of the year we had adopted two more dogs (bringing our pack to 6) and I was officially on my way to becoming a crazy dog person... I mean a dog photographer.
Every moment watching those pups play together was pure joy. My husband, who is a photographer, began to show me how I could capture those moments in the whirlwind of puppy madness. I couldn’t get enough photos of them. With every click of the camera a brand new priceless action (and typically hilarious expression) was saved for me to cherish.
Soon I wanted everyone to be able to cherish those moments the same way I could. And that is where Jowls & Howls comes in! I hope to provide families with frame worthy photos of their furry best friends.
