Currently accepting surrenders, no questions asked. A long time ago, CHX Hedgehogs was actually Palm Tree Pogs in Melbourne, Florida. We took a decade hiatus from breeding in order to complete two terms of service with the Army and then to finish graduate school. During this time, we focused solely on hedgehog ownership and rescue. Now that life has settled down, we are pursuing the licensure and

legal requirements to maintain, breed, and sell hedgehogs within Harris County. We hope to begin reputable breeding services soon to offer friendly, healthy babies as a local alternative to pet stores and mills.

Houston, TX...I have a problem that needs a solution! We have several foster hedgehogs that are over 2 years old that need a family as soon as possible. Some of these hedgehogs have been shuffled from home to home and we just want them to have a safe and final landing. It really isn't fair that they need to share bonding time with 34 other hogs. Let's get these hedgehogs adopted! Please spread the word and help us place these poor babies. It's like an orphanage and it breaks my heart!
