Good morning and happy summer solstice from Frankie ! ☀️🌅Our sweet adult gentleman who loves his sunrise morning cuddles with his dedicated foster mama . How sweet is this? 🥹 Frankie is a special boy who has grown immensely in his foster over the last year plus . We know his perfect home is out there and his people just haven’t found him yet . 💓 His ideal home? A quieter, adult only home that includes snuggles while their human knits , reads or watches tv. A home that is home more often than not. A home with sunny window space to perch and smell the fresh air outside . 🥲A home DEFINITELY with other cats. 🐈‍⬛ He especially adores snuggling with his foster homes female adult cats . He does still like some playtime especially with some toy mice ! He will take patience so he can adjust to a new home - so please understand he has a big heart and will need time to realize his new home adores him too! 💖
Frankie is fostered with immense love and care in lower Westchester but he can be adopted within 2 hours (or more for the right home!) .

Thanks to one of our awesome volunteers we were able to get these four babies to a temporary foster until July 3! 💖After that time they will be looking for another foster(if not adopted!), at least for the month of July. They are in amazing hands until then! It truly takes a village! 💓
we are still urgently, looking for dedicated foster homes for both kittens and cats. We still have the orange mama and the two kittens who are almost 3 months old that are looking for a loving Foster as well. We also have single cats looking for fosters!

⭐️FOSTERS NEEDED! ⭐️We are overflowing with kittens and cat intake and have fosters going away for the summer with nowhere for cats to go except our already overwhelmed dedicated volunteers or cages. Can you foster for even two to four weeks this summer(or longer!) 😕We need help! 🙏Here are Jake , Jacque, and mama Jacklyn! They are currently living in a cage and need Foster’s! They’re super sweet and well socialized . Jake and Jacque are 10 weeks old. Mama does not need to go with the two boys.

Bunny update! Check out her awesome Bunny ears bed!! 🐰Our sweet low key girl rescued with the tiniest nub of a tail - and rescued on Easter Sunday along with “Easter” is finally doing better! 💖This darling girl experienced crippling diarrhea, weight loss , in-appetite and lethargy after she was spayed . ❤️‍🩹Thankfully after being treated for a severe symptomatic case of Cryptosporidium , she is doing wonderful! She’s in a wonderful foster home where she’s learning to gain confidence and realize she’s safe now after the trauma she endured outside . ⭐️Along with Dorito , Rey , and Easter (in addition to Winnie our disabled feral girl who lives in a catio outside) , ALL of them of from the same exact neighborhood in the South Bronx . An area overwhelmed with cats , but with one extremely caring person who feeds over 40 cats a day before she helps herself . We have been helping this community for over two years , with about 100 cats (between TNR and Rescue) it’s much more manageable now - but new ones always show up. 🥺Corey Feldman at Petsmart is from the same neighborhood!

Bunny will continue her foster journey but can also be adopted to a loving attentive home ! Dorito and Rey are still up for adoption together! ☹️ but , Easter has a potential adopter! 😊

BIG UPDATE : CARLOS! 🤩 We have been waiting to tell everyone the news that Carlos went to an INCREDIBLE new foster home after we urgently needed to move him from his last one- This one truly understands him , and has the patience to listen to his needs . They love him , and say he’s a 10/10 cat! Yes he’s on low dose Prozac to keep his overzealous playing at bay, but he’s not aggressive, he just gets excited . Still pretty sure he was a single kitten that was tossed out when bad behaviors from not having a playmate turning into OUCH. 🥺He has come a LONG way and we are all SO proud. He even is getting along with the resident chill adult cats. We suspected all along he really wanted cat buddies. He’s very good with them . He loves to be pet , play, and takes treats from your hand. He’s a VERY sweet big boy!💖 Thank you everyone for cheering him on and believing in him. You got this Carlos .

🆘URGENT MONTY NEEDS AN IMMEDIATE EMERGENCY FOSTER. Current foster moves the end of this week and cannot take him!!! 🆘Good morning from Monty. Monty needs your help after being let down by more than 3 people over the last 2 years he has been with us. Monty was rescued in awful shape, begging for help . Marie , one of our long time dedicated volunteers, who does more than you could imagine and has for years , rescued him from the Bronx streets. Do you have a room or office for him?? He has some skin sensitivity we have been monitoring so we will likely want to bring him to the vet soon for a checkup . Sadly his current and past Foster’s have not taken photos or videos although we have pleaded. Please message us if you can help Monty - we truly have no where for him to go other than a cage and he will be REALLY sad if we need to do that .

😻A happy adoption update: Two best friends! Mittens and Cliffe were both adopted through us a month apart- but they’d never met! The adopter fell in love with both these boys and so badly hoped they could be friends! They both had such sweet personalities, and their instincts were correct … now they are best buddies!

NYC Cat Coalition- We rescue cats, get them healthy, and find them loving homes. Contact us if you’d like to volunteer with us!

We are a group of locals dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned cats in Westchester, NY and The Bronx. The vast majority of our rescues were either found on the street or were abandoned by their owners passing away or moving. We also take in cats from local shelters in the hopes that it will remove all chances of them getting lost in the system. Once we have them, we make sure they're healthy and do everything in our power to get them a forever home.
