Dog: 10 Month old male
Breed: Plott Hound/Cane Corso
Color: Brindle, White markings on Feet, Chest and Nose
Name: Rocky
Picked up from 23000 HWY 47, Yamhill, Oregon. Between Yamhill and Gaston. Specifically between Wapato School Road and Cove Orchard Road North.
Vehicle Description: older 1996-1999 Jeep Cherokee,White in color
Occupied by 2 Females
Event: 11:45 am; according to Witnesses, Dog was trying to cross the road, was nearly struck by witness vehicle who recognized the dog and knew the owner. Witness saw in rear view mirror, white jeep stop. 12:05 At the stop light in Forest Grove, White Jeep pulled up next to the witness, witness made contact and told Jeep occupants who the Owner was, Occupants in jeep stated that "he is safe they have him"
Light changed and Jeep turned towards Forest Grove. Witness was unable to follow.
Where we are now:
Someone knows who has Rocky.
He is Large, Active and Friendly.
Kind of hard to miss this dog, did your daughter, wife, or girlfriend bring him home.
Did your nieghbor get a new dog yesterday?
All I really want is Rocky home with me.
Message to Jeep driver and passenger:
Your original intention might have been to try and rescue a lost dog, but at this point you have a stolen dog.
You can surrender him to a shelter. They will contact me directly.
