Why do puppies cost what they cost?
#1 pedigree... our first German Shepherd we bought 6 months after we were married. We did not know until we got her papers that her breeding was too close. We believe this caused some health issues in her that gave us no choice but to put her to rest at 13 months old. She had a mass that was growing and growing, and the vet couldn't figure out what or why. A few months later, we brought home Nocona (Jessie's mom), and we vowed to pay attention to breeding and give people HEALTHY puppies. There is 0 overlapping of any parents, grandparents, great grands or great great grands, and so on. We take pride in that!!! Our puppies have 3rd generation European German Shepherd bloodlines. When you purchase a puppy, we give registration papers and a 3 generation pedigree.
#2 caring for 9 puppies and mom = food and shavings for puppies bedding. We buy our dog food from Brandt Mills in Lebanon pa and love the quality and advice we are given! We go through about 160lbs of dog food in 4 weeks of the puppies eating solids.
#3 vet bills. We care about our dogs and these puppies! They get the best care, and we make sure of it!
These 3 things are important to use to provide good bred healthy puppies.
These pups are growing fast! 1 week old yesterday and already trying to walk. Their eyes are not open yet so mom is life. Jessie is a wonderful mom!
