Easy on the Lead Fully insured dog trainer

I have been a dog owner all of my life, focusing on dog training for more than a decade now, both training my own dogs and leading obedience, behavioural and socialisation classes. For me, dog training is an incredibly rewarding endeavour and no matter how small or large the issue (or the dog!) I will give it my full commitment and attention. I am a fully insured dog trainer, offering advice based

on the individual circumstances of each person, family or situation, providing consultations on a one-to-one basis or as a group, at your own home or in a local and convenient public place. Some of the training that can be provided includes:
- Advice on a first dog and puppy training
- Socialisation (within the home and outside, with people and other dogs)
- General obedience (sit/stay etc.)
- Recall
- Walking on the lead
- House training
- Aggression and nervousness

My approach is holistic and concentrates on educating people on what works for them and their pet, as different lifestyles often require different methods of training. Reward based training and positive reinforcement are key in my technique and I aim to help owners and dogs to better understand each other.

It was a crisp but dry day at the beautiful Drumbanagher Estate and the craic was great 🤭

Over the last few weeks we have been asked about when our pet gundog classes are going to start. They will start again in the spring when hopefully the weather improves and it's more pleasant to stand around out side. 😎
This short video you will see are a few basic steps we go through in the beginners class but only after the dog is very keen to retrieve something that is thrown. 👍
If you follow these steps without distraction, it will be a great foundation to move forward with. 👏
Enjoy your training and most importantly let the dog enjoy it.! You will then make a great team. ☺️🐶
If classes are not your thing or work commitments hinder attending classes, we also offer 1 to 1 and can move forward at your individual pace on which ever days suit you best. 🐾

This weather just doesn't dampen Tracy's spirits. I think the rain has affected her wiring though 🤣

12 week old Iris out exploring the world with loads of confidence. When I do my training I try to avoid any other distractions, just me and the puppy /dog enjoying what we are doing together .. building our bond outside after working on it in the garden.🐾🌿🍂🥰

A little bit of recall with the whistle. Iris has no idea what the whistle is yet but she is following the other dogs anyway. 🥰🐾
