We would like to introduce one of the faces behind our farm "Julie!" After more than 10 years working in a vet clinic, years of experience as a Jillaroo and growing up on farms since she was a small child, we thinks it's safe to say when it comes to the farm life this lady knows her stuff! Julie handles most of our sales here at Wildwood farm and she's our go to person when we need advice for making those tough decisions like which animals we should retain or pick for our next upcoming show, Julie's favourite breed of goat here is our beloved elf goats, we are pretty lucky to have her and her wisdom here 🐐

We thought it was time to introduce our cattle to you all 🐮

Our family have owned and bred Murry grey cattle for over 40 years and although we love these "giant cows" as some of our visitors have described them as, we have been learning all about some of the smaller breeds of cattle and we are excited to welcome some mini moos to our farm, including Dexter and miniature Galloways, we are quickly falling in love with these mini moos, watch this space for more exciting announcements to come 🐮🤠

It was a bittersweet moment here at Wildwood farm recently, we said goodbye to our boy Wildwood Diego, he is off on an exciting new adventure with another lovely goat stud, we are so proud of this beautiful boy, you may recognise him from the many shows he has attended and photos he has posed for, we can't wait to see him shine with his awesome new owner, Diego has given us some lovely kids we are excited to show soon, we wish Diego and his new owner all the best with there future endeavours 👋 ⭐💛

We are giving a shout out to our old girl Velvet.

Velvet lives on the farm here at Wildwood with us, my grandmother Sorelle owns and adores Velvet, Hope you enjoy these pics of the two of them together, (in the first two pics velvet was 1 year old) last pic was taken recently (2024) and velvet just turned 23, Velvet is a purebred Shetland pony, my grandmother Sorelle used to show Velvet successfully, the two of them won many ribbons, Velvet is now retired from showing and she continues to be very spoilt and Loved, Velvet did have a daughter named Tiffany that our little farm helper Flicka now rides and loves 🐴

Mini-lee Judas priest Appreciation post

This year marks 4 years + 6 months we have been the proud owners of our handsome boy Judas, in that time Judas has been shown several times and wether he has won supreme, champion, reserve champion or another title, we have always been proud of him, to us his most important title is "our boy Judas" Judas has given us some stunning prize winning kids including Wildwood Dusty and Wildwood Destiny, Judas was the start of our love of the pygmy goat breed. I will admit my relationship with Judas has been up and down wether it's because of me running for my life out of his pen, me trying to convince this very hefty boy to get in the show ring or Judas chewing a hole in my beautiful dress, This boy chose his person long ago and that person is my husband Liam who Judas becomes a big puppy dog for and I have decided I'm ok with being the third wheel in this relationship, all jokes aside I can admire the beautiful animal that our Judas is 🐐
