MARLEY GRADUATES PUPPY TRAINING 🐶 🎓🎉 - Congratulations to Marley and his family who graduated puppy training earlier today. Marley is doing a great job with his training, this is one serious puppy who is well on his way to becoming a great dog. Marley’s training will be ongoing in the next few weeks as we work hard to get his early education off to the best start possible. We will keep you updated with Marley’s progress over the coming weeks. 🐾 🐶 🐾

AVRIL JUVENILE TRAINING 🐶 - We were super pleased to see how well Avi is going this weekend. Avril is now walking better on the leash with her owner, she is continuing to gain confidence, she has started to travel better in the car and is learning her obedience skills really well. Poodles never cease to amaze with their intelligence and eagerness to learn and please their owners. Well done to Avi and hats off to her new owner who is working so hard to give her the quality of life she deserves! 🐾 🐶 🐾

INTRODUCING MARLEY 🐶 - Last week saw us welcome Marley to his puppy training programme. Marley is a male Doberman puppy who has just started his life with his new family. Marley is lucky to have our regular pack walking dog Mia as his big fur sister. Mia has a lovely nature and will love being a great role model for Marley. Doberman Pinscher’s are a large breed working dogs. They are a muscular dog breed with a temperament characterised by loyalty, fearlessness, and devotion. They can be stubborn, so early training is very important in this breed, lots of socialisation and good routines are also important for Doberman’s as they can be prone to become territorial and anxious if the right training is not put into place from the get-go. It is really great to be working with this lovely boy and we are super happy that Mia has a new friend to play with. 🐾 🐶 🐾

WELCOME TO JUVENILE TRAINING AVRIL 🐶 - It was wonderful to meet Avi and her owner last week for their first training session. Avi is a beautiful Toy Poodle female who has not had the best start in life, she was rescued from an unpleasant situation a few months ago where she was being kept in a small crate by a breeder. This sad start in life has meant that Avi did not get the benefits of early exposure to all the sights and sounds we try our best to let our young pups experience. Avril can be skittish around new people and gets worried by loud noises and new places, she also exhibits some signs of separation anxiety. That being said, she has come a million miles since being adopted by her new owner and we are keen to take her training to new levels with this training programme. Avi is true to her breed and is very smart and loves treats so is easily motivated by food for training. It is wonderful to be part of Avril’s journey into her new life. 🐾 🐶 🐾

MEET SOME NEW FACES 🐕 🐕‍🦺 🦮 🐶 - We have had great fun in the last couple of weeks welcoming some new dogs to our pack walks. A huge Training Four Paws welcome to Waffle, Billy, Wally and Cash. We are meeting some new dogs over the next week too and hope to add them to more of our groups in the near future! 🐾 🙏 🐾 If you are in the Gold Coast and would like your dog exercised and having a great interaction and social skills don’t think twice. TAJ GRADUATES FROM JUVENILE TRAINING PAW 🐾🐶🐾🎓🌟 - Well done to Taj and his owner for successfully finishing their Juvenile Training Programme. Taj is the first Alaskan Klee Kai we have taught in a long time and it has been wonderful to spend a bit more time with a dog of this breed. Taj has done a great job through his time training with us and his owner has learned lots of new skills along the way. Well done you two 🐾🐕🐾Instagran Dog

WOLF GRADUATES FROM OUR ADULT TRAINING PROGRAMME 🐕‍🦺 🐶 🎓- A big well done to Wolf and his owner for graduating from their adult dog training programme this week. Wolf is a stunning male American (Field) Labrador who had a great start to life as he was in training to be a scent detection dog. He was adopted by a lovely family when Wolf was found to have less of a drive for working than his litter mates. We have had four great sessions with Wolf and he has picked up lots of new skills. We are hoping to see Wolf on our pack walks soon as the regular interaction with other dogs will be great for this handsome guy. Well done again to Wolf and his owners. 🐾 👏 🐶 🎉 🐾

OUR BEHAVIOUR ASSESSMENT WITH BENJI 🐶 - It was such a pleasure to meet Benji and his owner at the weekend. Benji is a 9 month old male Border Collie. We were consulted for advice on Benji’s behaviour around other dogs as his owner was worried he might have some aggressive tendencies. Benji came up to Bonogin for his assessment so we could introduce him to our dogs Billy and Sally and watch how he interacted with them. We had good news to share, Benji is just a normal young dog who is still learning but we did not find anything in his behaviour to be of any concern. Benji’s owner learned a few extra tips and skills to help Benji with his training and work towards meeting his breed requirement for lots of exercise and stimulation. We are hoping to see Benji soon for some pack walks!! 🐾 🐶 🐾

WELCOME TO PACK WALKS WALLY!! 👏 🐕 We are delighted to introduce Wally to our pack this week. Wally is a beautiful two and half year old male Labradoodle who was introduced to us through our friends at . Wally has been known to become a bit over excited at doggy day care, and he can try and dominate other dogs by hu***ng them and excessively scent marking. Wally’s owner has made a good call in thinking about pack walks for Wally as pack walks will give Wally access to socialise with other dogs, while being on a controlled walk. Wally did an awesome job on his first walk, he was a bit nervous when we first picked him up and introduced him to our other dogs but was soon in his element as we started the walk and he got in sync with the rest of the pack. Lovely to have you with us Wally, welcome on board! 🐾 🐕 🐾

INTRODUCING WOLF 🐶 - We really enjoyed our 3rd Juvenile Dog Training session with Wolf earlier this week. Wolf is a 7 month old American (Field) Labrador. In his early months Wolf was in training as a sniffer dog with some of his other littermates. He was dropped from the training programme as his work drive was not deemed to be strong enough to continue. Wolf’s handlers thought he would be better suited to being a family dog so Wolf was re-homed to his current owners. Wolf can be a bit nervous around new people and in some new situations and his family are keen to help him work on this. Wolf is a lovely strong and intelligent dog, we are really enjoying being a part of Wolf’s early years education. Great to meet you guys, see you next week. 🐾 🐶 🐾

FERGIE GRADUATES JUVENILE TRAINING 🐶 - Congratulations 🎉 to Fergie and his family for graduating from Juvenile Training at the weekend!! 👏 We all think Fergie would benefit from a bit more social interaction so we may be seeing more of Fergie in the coming months on some of our walks. TOEA GRADUATES PUPPY TRAINING 🐶 - A huge well done to Toea and family for finishing their puppy training programme with flying colours today 🎉. You guys have Toea off to a really good start and we were delighted to help you with her early education. WELCOME TO ADULT TRAINING TAJ 🐶 - We are delighted to introduce Taj! Taj is a male Alaskan Klee Kai. The Alaskan Klee Kai falls into the Spitz group of dogs and were bred as a companion dog in the US in the late 20th century. The Klee Kai is closely related to the Siberian Husky and the Malamute but is much smaller in size. Alaskan Klee Kai’s are high in energy but are also kind and affectionate and they make great companion pets. Tai’s owner is hoping to work on his recall, sit / stay command and help him be more cooperative when putting on his harness. He can be skittish around new people too which is a common trait in the Alaskan Klee Kai breed. Great to meet you Taj we are thrilled to be working with you! 🐾 🐶 🐾

MEET LOUIE 🐶 - It was really great to meet to Louie for his behaviour assessment at the weekend. Louie is a 9 month old male Corgi who has been a bit of a handful with resource guarding, nipping, marking inside the home and being a bit of a bully to his gorgeous fir sibling Sadie. Louie has recently been desexed, and as his hormone levels have been steadily decreasing since his procedure Louie’s owners are nothing a change in his behaviour for the better which is a real step in the right direction. We worked through a few issues during this session, and focused especially on helping Louie and Sadie to have more positive encounters and helping them spend supervised time together. We are super excited that Sadie and Louie will soon be joining our pack walks! This will be of huge social and physical benefit to both these lovely dogs and we can’t wait to have them on board! 🐾 🐶 🐾

HOPE SOCIALISATION TRAINING 🐶 - We met up with Hope and her owners for Hope’s first socialisation training in a little while at the weekend. Hope is a rescue dog we have worked with in the past. Last time we were working together Hope got diagnosed with hip dysplasia and her training had to get cut short. We used our dog Billy for this session with Hope and also enlisted the help of some other dogs we know who have amazing social skills, thanks to Timber and Millie for sharing your kind natures and beautiful temperaments. Hope did a great job of meeting everyone and it was important for her owners to see Hope around other dogs. We look forward to helping Hope and her owners over the next few weeks. Well done guys! 🐾 🐶 🐾

As I was going to work this morning this big fella was wondering on the road. I stop my car causing a litle bit of a traffic jam but it was worth it. He’s name is Andy and luckily he not only had his owners phone number and his name on the tag he also had his address which made it easier to get him home. We had a great walk in Broadbeach Waters this morning with Taco, Nacho, Charlie, Lola, Jasmin, Gemma, T-Bird, Opti, Kenji, Afro and Denzel. A big group, but what a wonderful pack to walk. Our 1st walk of today was with our lovely Mudgeeraba group which included Bear, Bailey, Bear, Jersey, Mila, Josie, Bones and Matilda. Matilda was really good on her first pack walk. We have done a lot of work to get to this point with Matilda. Great to see all Matilda’s owner’s hard work and persistence paying off. MATILDA - Great to see Matilda doing so well with her social training. Matilda met Afro & Denzel and enjoyed her walk with them Sally and Billy. We had a nice big group out this morning at the Botanic Gardens. Our dogs today were Finn, Taco, Charlie, Lola, Jasmin, T-Bird, Gemma, Opti, Kenji, Bolt and Lara. Charlie, the black Cocker Spaniel is new to our group. We met Charlie through our puppy training programme and we are super pleased to have him join our weekly pack walks. Last up today we had Bolton, Lola, Jasmin, Ned, Frankie, Theo, Nacho, T-Bird & Gemma. It has been ages since we last saw our Border Collie friend Nacho and it was lovely to have him join us.
