New to our available kittens! Meet Lincoln. Born approximately July 20th, Lincoln is a charming tuxedo boy with wonderfully plush fur and an exceptionally easy-going nature. He doesn't really meow; he trills! He tilts his head like C3PO and sounds like R2D2. A Star Wars fan would get a huge kick out of him. Lincoln enjoys sitting on your lap and playing with your hands while softly purring.

Lincoln has white mittens with black toe beans. His face is black but his whiskers are white. And he has a white bib and belly too. This gentle kitty is dressed for a night at the symphony. Newby to our available kitten album. Meet Carter! Carter was born around July 20th and arrived in September at the SOLAS foster home with the rest of his litter. Carter was IMMEDIATELY loving and cuddly. He seeks out human company allll daaaay looooong. When his foster mom is playing cards, he insists on hanging out on her shoulder. He sleeps on her at night and escorts her to the bathroom. Carter craves human company but he's not especially interested in playing with his siblings. He would make a purrfect companion for someone who works from home or is looking for an emotional support animal. Meet Ginger Spice! Just over a year old now, this pretty lady needs a home to call her own. This girl has come SO FAR since entering our foster care. She may seem timid at first but once she knows you, she is playful and fun. Ginger had a rough beginning, but with loving foster care, she has come full circle to calmness and even likes the dog! Can you help Rowena find her forever home? In her words: I was a SOLAS kitten and thru no fault of my own have been returned to rescue. I'm 4-5 years old. I'm a cuddle bug and a good girl. My litter box manners are purrfect and I even allow my foster dad to trim my nails! I'm living in a foster home that has only two people, and I love their company and the quietness of their home. I would do well in a home, just like this one. I want to sit in your lap or next to you while you read. We might enjoy some "conversation" when you are busy doing something other than allowing me to sit on the throne of your lap! After leaving the only home I knew and losing my buddy kitty-friend, I am learning to relax and feel confident again in my surroundings. Please help me find a new home. No dogs please! Chloe is an energetic, loving, sweet girl. Rescued from a farm situation with her two siblings at 5 months old, she has spent the last months being socialized and given all the TLC she deserves. She is now ready for her forever home. Chloe loves to be pet and loves snacks! She may seem a bit shy at first, but quickly warms up. She has been in a home with dogs and kids and other cats. While it would be wonderful if she could be homed with one or both siblings, (Bean and Coco) they are not particularly bonded so her foster feels she will adjust to a happy home. A home for the holidays??? Grace is such a fun kitten. Perfect mix of s***k and cuddle. LOVES other cats and dogs and all humans. Adores cuddling up at the end of a long day of play on a lap with a heated blanket on it. Has the funniest sound she makes when she is expressing her displeasure at your doing something she doesn’t like (like not providing treats on demand). CJ just might rock around your Christmas tree, if you let her! CJ is approx a year old. She has come a long way from the hissy, spitting kitten she was, to grow into the tolerant, friendly cat she now is. She gets along with dogs (as long as she can look down at them from a cat tree) and has become a wrestling partner to Henny Penny. Like any other cat that started out living on the street, she is food motivated. Open a can of cat food and she will break the sound barrier racing to you. We are so grateful to ECS Technology Solutions for volunteering to host a litter donation site to benefit our kitties! ECS is located one block west of main street in Elkhorn, so this is a wonderful opportunity for our friends who live further out west to easily donate litter and help us save more kitties!
