Had an absolutely amazing time at the Stroud Food and Drink Festival! From start to finish, the atmosphere was vibrant and full of energy, with a wonderful crowd of food and drink enthusiasts. We were thrilled to sell out of pretty much everything – a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported us. It was incredible to see such an enthusiastic response to our offerings.

I was especially touched by how well my talk was received. The audience was engaged, attentive, and their positive feedback meant the world to me. It was an honor to share my passion and knowledge with such an appreciative group of people. The warmth and friendliness of everyone I met made the event even more special.

A massive shoutout to the organizers for putting together such a fantastic festival, and to all the lovely people who made it unforgettable. Your support and kindness have left a lasting impression, and I can’t wait to be part of this amazing event again next year! 🌟🍴🍹🌱🌱🌱

The beautiful RED VEIN SORREL.

Red Vein sorrel contains high levels of many minerals, like magnesium and fibre, as well as vitamins A, B and C. Theses help improve eyesight, immune function, and skin health where it is particularly good at fighting off infection. It has also been used in traditional healing methods to treat wounds and improve healing.

This particular microgreen is hard to grow and takes about 30 days with the right conditions. But watching take from, it’s fast becoming one of my favourites.

Instantly dogs and cats know exactly what to do when it comes to grass. They know no wheatgrass is good for them. It’s in their DNA when something is wrong with their bellies they eat grass to try to settle it. Not only is it incredibly healthy for animals, it also stimulates their mind, because most of the brain of a dog is connected with the nose, which helps the brain function naturally. When doing it as a pack it introduces bonding and relaxation.

There are many reasons why your dog might eat grass out in the yard. Sometimes dogs will eat grass to help induce vomiting when they know there’s something inside that needs to come out. Sometimes they do it simply out of boredom. And often they will eat grass if there are nutrients or enzymes lacking in their diet, which can often be the result of exclusively eating processed food (kibble and canned) that lacks the enzymes found in fresh foods. Now of course, there’s nothing inherently wrong with eating grass in and of itself. However, many yards are treated with chemical fertilizers, weed killer, and pesticides. If it’s been rainy and wet your yard could also have toxic mushrooms that are easy to miss with a quick glance. Offering organic wheatgrass that’s grown inside is a great way to give your dog what they’re looking, and to allow for the exercising of their natural instincts safely.
